A Fresh Start

Third person P.O.V.

The next day~~Morning

Sun rays through the once darkened sky with its warmth and sunshine. The ocean waves gently and soothingly as creatures of mobius continued on their daily lives as usual as if whatever happened yesterday is just a memory. Let bygones be bygones. The villain has been 'defeated'. Peace has returned. For now at least. All thanks to Mobius' renowned heroes. Without them...God, who knows what will happen to Mobius..That is another story for another time~~

With Sonic and company

Sonic and Tails' house

Blinding lights went through the curtains on the very glorious morning as a pair of emerald eyes were blinking, waking up from his slumber. Sonic yawned lazily, not wanting to wake up anytime soon.

"Yawnnn….man~~~sooooo sleepy~~...Please nobody comes here.. I wanna continue sleeping..~~" the cobalt blue blur murmured drowsily.

*Knock*

*Knock*

"Hey, Sonic. Are you awake yet?" Tails knocked the door gently.

Sonic startled by the sudden knocking and let out a soft sigh. 'Aww man...I spoke too soon..'

"Come in, Tails. I'm awake but...sleepy…" he yawned after finishing his sentence then Tails opened the door. "Hey...How are you, bud?" Sonic added before Tails could said a word.

Tails shrugged lightly. "Better than you, I guess." Sonic snickered.

"Yeah..I guess you're right on that, bud. I felt so drained.." Sonic answered sheepishly and tiredly. "Sooooooo..What's for breakfast??" He quickly added. His tone is like a child asking their parents to go have some fun.

Tails was a little surprised by his sudden not-so-important question as he chuckled in amusement. "Heh, that's so typical of you. I thought you would have asked about what happened last night, not about breakfast. I guess we can't start a day with an empty stomach."

Sonic smirked and chuckled. "Well, you can't always expect what I'm thinking, Tails, although you are a mad genius." He winked.

"Oh, stop flattering me why don't you?" Tails blushed in embarrassment as a smirk formed on his face. "It also goes on how unpredictable and reckless you can be, Sonic. Most of the time."

Sonic's eyes avoided Tails' in embarrassment. "Uh..yeah…I can't help it you know.." he scratched the back of his head uncomfortably.

Tails laughed as he walked to the door, going to the dining room. "Come and join me, Sonic. Let's talk about it during breakfast." He walked away as he reached the door he turned, facing Sonic who is now sitting on his bed. "By the way...We're having your favourite dish this morning…" he trailed off and winked. "...better hurry or I'll finish all of it!" Tails quickly added as he took off, laughing out loud amusily.

Sonic quickly got off the bed, catching up with Tails in sonic speed. "Hey! Not fair, Tails!" he took off.
