Daifuku x Oven x Katakuri (Pt 1💀)

((this too is a seperate one shot and for all of you Daifuku fans, get your box of tissues out.))

Mama had sent the triplets over on a mission to an Island that happened to be part of the Giant's territory.

All she wanted was the poneglyph that had been spotted on the island.

And if the rumors are true then to bring the poneglyph over to her territory.

The triplets were told that the island was in ruins and unguarded.

But that was a lie.

They had been on the island for about an hour when suddenly they were under attack.

The triplets had put their strength to the ultimate test but there were just too many giants.

And it also didn't help that some of the giants had powerful devil fruit powers as well.

Some of them even tried to lure the 3 brothers into the ocean to weaken them.

But they all managed to stay strong.

All but one.

Daifuku's genie tried to fight off the giants but while Daifuku was distracted by the giants in front of him, he didn't notice the giant coming up from behind him.

But before Daifuku could turn around, the giant had managed to plant a few blows on Daifuku.

Oven- "ANIKI!! Katakuri!"

Katakuri- "I know! We have to retreat!"

It took the brothers a while to fight off the giants in order to get to their brother.

Katakuri- "I'll hold them off, get Daifuku back to the ship!"

Oven then helped Daifuku get to his feet to help him get to the ship.

Katakuri fought off the giants that persued them in order to help his brothers get to the ship unharmed.

Once they reached to the ship, Katakuri ordered his crew to set sail immediately.

Which of course was going to be impossible because the giants are still persuing.

And since most of the giants were not devil fruit users, they were able to set foot into the ocean and persue them a bit further.

Katakuri helped his crew fight off the giants while Oven tried to stop the bleeding on Daifuku.

Daifuku- "Brother...I feel...cold"

Oven- "Stop talking like that..you're going to make it."

Oven felt himself tense when he hears Daifuku coughing heavily.

Daifuku- "Those bastards....they tricked me.."

Oven- "I know! But you have to shut up and stay strong!"

Oven tried his best to stop his brother from bleeding but even he knew that the wounds were more than flesh.

Daifuku then gently gripped Oven's wrist to try and push him off.

Daifuku- "Don't....its....its no use."

Oven- "No! It will work! You just have to stay strong until we get back!"

Daifuku- "I....I don't think...I'll make it until then..."

Oven- "YES YOU CAN!! YOU JUST HAVE TO HOLD ON FOR YOUR LIFE A BIT LONGER!!"

Katakuri's haki kicked in and he saw 5 minutes into the future, causing him to grip tighter onto Mogura.

Daifuku- "Brother...I...I want to sit up.."

Oven then tried to sit Daifuku up but his strength was failing him from applying too much pressure onto his brother's wounds for a long amount of time.

Katakuri noticed and rushed over to help his brother get into a more comfortable position.

Katakuri looked at Daifuku's current state and couldn't help but feel like it was all his fault.

He had seen the prediction before but the giants had kept him from warning his brother.

And now his brother is suffering because of what he didn't prevent.

Daifuku- "I....I'm sorry...I wasn't...strong enough.."

Katakuri- "Its not your fault brother....if anything its my fault for not warning you.."

Oven- "ITS NO ONE'S FAULT!! THERE WERE JUST TOO MANY OF THEM!! WE JUST UNDERESTIMATED THEM IS ALL!! WE SHOULD'VE BROUGHT REINFORCEMENTS!!"

Oven has tears streaming down his face as he tried to prevent himself from sobbing.

Katakuri couldn't help but let out a few tears himself.

He swore that he would protect his family at any cost, but today was not one of those days.

Daifuku- "Brothers...this is it."

Oven- "Dont-!"

Oven chocked on a sob before he could even say anything else.

Daifuku- "I just....want to say...thank you..."

Katakuri and Oven couldn't say anything at this point.

Daifuku- "And....if its too much trouble....I'd like for you two...to stay....stay here with me....just for a bit longer...."

Katakuri- "of course brother.."

Oven nodded and gripped his hand, Katakuri doing the same with the other hand.

Katakuri at times had to use his Mochi to push the giants away from their ship.

Oven doing the same with his Heat-Heat fruit.

They had been busy fighting off the giants as they tried to get home safely.

That they didn't even notice Daifuku's grip on their hands had loosened seconds after.
