Buggy x Shank's Sister Reader

Your relationship was complicated.

You loved him.

But you couldn't show it.

You wanted to tell your brother.

But you couldn't.

You wanted to cheer for your boyfriend of 7 years when you saw him on the screen when the battle at Marineford went on.

But you couldn't.

It had been a while since you saw your boyfriend.

And since he got locked up in Impel Down you had missed him even more.

You lived in an island away from all the chaos and under the protection of your older brother, Shanks.

You wanted to join his crew but he told you that it was too dangerous and that he didn't want to see you get hurt because of him.

And since you were the only blood family he has left, he asked you to stay at an island that's under his protection so he at least knows that you are safe.

Like seriously, no REAL danger ever happens on the island.

Not even pirates ever set foot on that island.

Once they see that the island is under the protection of a Yonko, they leave.

All except one.

"Guess who?"

You were hanging your clothes on a rope to dry when you suddenly felt 2 hands covering your eyes from behind.

You touched the hands and tried to feel the arms, but you felt nothing.

Almost like the arms are invisible.

Or the hands are detached.

And that's when you knew.

You- "Buggy?!"

The hands let go and went back to their owners.

Buggy- "In the flesh toots."

You squealed and ran up to hug him.

Trying hard not to let any tears slip out.

Buggy- "Woah hey hey, what's with the tears? I told you I'd be back."

You- "But that was months ago.."

Buggy sighed.

Buggy- "I know...I'm sorry that I took long, I had a run-in with the big boys."

You- "Really?"

Buggy- "Yeah, but luckily for you, I managed to fight them off so I could come see you again!"

You giggled.

He was lying.

You knew he was.

You saw the whole battle back at Sabaody, you knew what really happened.

But you found it adorable when he sounded all tough and intimidating.

You- "You must've gotten hurt."

Buggy- "Oh you know, got slashed multiple times, blown up, thrown into a tornado, nearly gotten frost bite, but I am STILL here!"

You- "I am glad to hear that you are okay, I was worried sick about you when I heard about the battle at Marineford."

Buggy let out a chuckle.

Buggy- "Don't sweat it babe, You know I can handle any situation given to me."

You- "Like forming that alliance with Whitebeard?"

Buggy's eyes shot open.

Buggy- "uuuuhh, Y-Y-Yeah! He was so afraid of me that he begged me to join his side!"

You smiled then gave his red nose a small kiss.

You- "You know I saw the whole thing when I went to Sabaody, right?"

Buggy froze, unsure what to say next.

You- "Hehehehe, its okay, I'll still tell people your side."

Buggy- "And that's why I love you babe."

You giggled as Buggy lifted you to give you a passionate kiss on the lips.

The kiss then turned heated after a while before you pulled back to catch your breath.

You- "Buggy...my brother is suspicious.."

Buggy- "About what? That I stole a Marine uniform? Bleh! That Red Head sure likes to get under my skin! Screw him!"

You- "I meant that he is suspicious about...US."

Buggy- "What's it to him?"

You- "Well...you know my brother can be a bit overprotective at times."

Buggy- "A BIT?! You live here because of him!!"

You- "I don't see the problem in that.."

Buggy- "Do you have ANY idea how boring this place is?!"

You- "Well either way...we have to tell Shanks about us sooner or later."

Buggy- "He doesn't need to know, its none of his business.."

You- "Maybe to you..but he is MY brother after all."

Buggy tisked as he look away.

Buggy- "Fine...but YOU tell him...when I'm not there.."

You- "I don't think he would get angry with us Buggy."

Buggy- "To you maybe..but what about me?!"

You giggled.

You- "Its okay, you did  say that you could take ANY situation given to you, right?"

Buggy then dropped his head in defeat.

Buggy- "I hate you sometimes."

You- "No you don't."

Buggy- "You're right I don't...but you do get under my skin sometimes."

You smiled and kiss his red nose.

You- "I love you Clown Nose."

Buggy- "Oi!! Leave my nose alone you-!"

You paused and waited for him to finish that sentence.

Buggy- "-..........."

You- "Well?"

Buggy turned away, not being able to look you in the eye.

Buggy- "tsk....I love you too."

You smiled as you took his hand and let him inside the house for a quick drink before he loses his temper again.
