I made it back home, a few tears slipping out as I walked. My arms ached from carrying all the food.
The rain was letting up some more, which was nice I suppose. Part of me suspects that the garden has flooded.
You can't do anything right, so don't be surprised.
Even still, gardening these past few days has been therapeutic in a way. I finally made it back to the castle and I put the groceries away.
My eyelids felt so heavy, but I couldn't bring myself to sleep. I never can.
I just looked out the window aimlessly. The rain drowned out my sobs yet again.
