" Hey are you okay"
The last thing Carter heard before he blacked out
When he woke up he saw the oh so familiar ceiling "Nurse's office" he said in his head wondering how he got here he looked to his side and saw Mason asleep in a chair right next to him
" How are you feeling" startled he looked to see who said that and saw Mrs. Black the nurse " I feel fine" " Really C-" " I am fine I promise" " Okay" she said " Are you still seeing your therapist" she blurted out " Y-yes" he lied he stop seeing him after his parents got really bad she nodded not really believing him but not wanting to question him further
After he woke up Mason and the nurse said it was okay to go they walked to third period together, did I mention I am in every class Mason is in
" Are okay" Mason asked " Yes" Carter snapped at him " Sorry I was just worried" Carter stopped dead in his tracks " Worried WORRIED YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME I AM NOT SOME CHARITY CASE THAT YOU GET TO FEEL BAD FOR WE HAVE NEVER TALKED BEFORE TODAY AND I INTEND TO KEEP IT THAT WAY" Carter yelled he was beyond mad all of his misplaced angry was starting to come out and he was starting to get emotional as he was letting out all of his bottled up emotions he didn't even realize he started crying until Mason hugged him and started to say that is was going to be okay,punching his chest Carter yelled " I HATE YOU I HATE YOU SO MUCH I-I-i hate you" he stopped yelling but he was crying hysterically he didn't know when or how Mason moved them to the empty gym but he was glad that nobody saw him crying except his enemy Mason but he would get over it.
Feeling tired he cuddled up to the warmth and dozed off completely forgetting he was still in Mason's arms and that he was still at school all he knew was that
This felt right and he never wanted it to end
