Chapter Thirty-Four

Aaliyah's POV

"Baby wake up." Zion said shaking me lightly.

"What do you want?" I groaned as I turned around.

"Let's go get breakfast mamas." He said while hovering over me.

"Z I'm tired." I said.

"Please." Zion whined.

"Fine." I said getting up.

"Yay." He smiled.

"You're paying." I said going into my bathroom.

"Of course." He yelled back at me.

I got myself ready and threw on some clothes.

"Aaliyah hurry the fuck up." Zion yelled from downstairs.

"I'm coming nigga." I said before going down the stairs.

I see him standing next to a bouquet of roses.

"Aww, are those for me?" I asked me.

"Nah, they're for Simba. Yes they're for you." He said sarcastically.

"I'mma ignore that comment because of your kind gesture." I said.

"You like them?" He asked.

"Yes, I love them. Thank you." I said before giving him a kiss.

"No problem baby, you deserve it." He smiled.

"You ready to go?" He asked me.

"Yeah, I just need to grab my purse." I said.

I grabbed my bag and we headed out.

"Where are we even going?" I asked him as I buckled up my seatbelt.

"IHOP, then the mall so you can find something to wear since you were freaking out yesterday." He said.

"What song?" I asked him after I connected to the Bluetooth.

"Surprise me." He said turning on the car.

Zion just dropped me back off at my house to get ready for our date. I took a shower, did my makeup then put on my dress.

As I was doing some last finishing touches I heard the door bell ring.

"I'm coming." I yelled as I walked to the door.

"Damn." We say at the same time then laughed.

"You look sexy as fuck." He said looking me up and down.

"I could say the same for you." I said taking in his appearance. He was wearing faded dark jeans with a white shirt and a tan jacket.

"Nah, your ass looks like you're tryna get pregnant tonight." He said while biting his lip.

"You look like you're tryna get called daddy tonight." I said.

"Let's go before I cancel these reservations." He said.

"Wait lemme just grab my bag and post these pictures." I said grabbing my phone.

"Hurry up though." He said walking to the front door.

"HuRrY uP tHoUgH." I mocked him.
