I look at him and say, " I KNOW THERES AN AISLE 13 I SAW THE SIGN."
He looks at me like Im crazy.
I run to the side where I saw Aisle 13. He was right. There is no Aisle 13. I should have known then to run. To leave. But of course, I didnt.
He runs to me. " Babe. Whats wrong? You must have just misunderstood the sign."
But I know I didnt. I know I saw aisle 13. As I was looking at the last aisle, aisle 12, I saw how fully stacked it was. I sat down. Wondering what was happening.
He grabs me in his arms and kisses me. "Babe its okay. You were probably just not paying that close of attention. Lets go to the food aisle and get us a PIZZAAA!!" He runs off to go get pizza.
I hesitate, looking one last time at the aisle 12, then I run after him.
