"Here we are in the future!! Yeah!!" Spinel appeared "here we are in the future and its wrooong!!!" She danced and dramatically slid across the floor on her knees "Whoa, Spinel its ok. We're done" Steven told her "Ha! Nice." Y/N said sarcastically as the others turned to her, confused "Sapphire has inherited me into her place and now I am also being guarded by Ruby." She said nonchalantly as she watched Ruby pace back and forth, searching for any source of danger that might hurt her Sapphire or her 'Pretty one', meaning Y/N (hey u!! U beautiful) "What." Peridot's arms slumped over as she walked over to them "I don't know." Y/N sat down, bellow Sapphires height. "I assigned my Ruby to also guard the 'Pretty one' as she says" Bismuth snickered at Sapphire's action "Well..There's no doubt that she isn't a pretty one" Bismuth walked over but was immediately stopped by Ruby's Growling "Welp, ya lost her Steven" Y/N blushed dark red at Bismuths sneaky remark "Huh?" He was talking to Lapis about Garnet and stuff "Sapphire 2" Bismuth tried to touch Y/N but Ruby smacked her hand away

~A few moments later, which certainly did not include Lapis trying to save Y/N from the undomesticated Ruby~

"Hup,hup,hup,hup.. Hmm" Ruby would continue this routine as she walked back and forth in front of Sapphire and Y/N. Every time she would stop: she would somewhat crouch. Making finger guns with 2 fingers, on arm bent and pointing up and the other extended out. And she'd repeat as the ones being protected watched her "So when Ruby and Sapphire first became Garnet" Steven paced back in forth similar to Ruby but his hand was on his chin and his other arm holding his side "Ruby rushed in to save Sapphire from Danger... and Bam!" She clapped "They fused" he finished the beautiful story which was summarized in not the most fitting words "So maybe we gotta create some sorta dangerous situation" he walked in the opposite direction and stopped in his tracks "Well what do we have thats deadly and dangerous laying around?" Lapis looked at Bismuth and then at the green Dorito "I think we could dig something up!" Peridot crossed her arms. She giggled and ran over to what appeared to be a trash container "Danger, Danger, Danger" Peridot threw different items out of the container but hesitated when she held a Flower decorated sword's handle, no blade? The handle had F/OC's wrapped around and the Guard had something written on it "'To my beloved flower of Grace'?" She read off of it, she handed it to Steven and he passed it over to Y/N across the floor Ruby glanced at him, caught it, examined it and passed it over to Y/N "What do we got?" As Peridot searched through the weapons she found on thing that didn't quite belong there

"Hmmm.. no." How dare thee Periodorito! She handed Steven the weapon and searched for another one. Spinel peaked in on what she was doing and Steven placed the sacred bird down "Aha!!" Now this was a less powerful weapon, but it still was good "A giant pizza cutter?" Steven looked at the spiky, round object worriedly "That is one of its functions, yes" she said properly, Spinel looked awestruck "I can't threaten them with this" Steven looked at the object "Hmm, here" she pressed a button and the pizza cutter evolved into a death machine, shaking Steven up. He was thr one holding it, after all "Now it's much more threatening. Y/N scoot a little back!" Peridot nearly jumped out of her light form on that last sentence, Y/N did as told "Off you go now" she pushed Steven away "Good luck!" Spinel waved cheerfully. Ruby kept her routine going but stopped in the middle to look at Steven wobbling over "Halt!!!! I cannot allow you to approach my elegance's with such a threatening device" Steven blushed at her words, Y/N was one of The elegances. How'd Ruby know? "That's too bad cuz I'm gonna.." he confidently lifted the device up as in to slash her "Get youuu!!" Y/N burst out in giggles, Sapphire smiled along with her "Will this work?" Bismuth asked her fellow gems but instead Spinel laughed "Permission to dispatch the curly haired one, my elegance's?" Ruby stood tall "No need," Y/N kept giggling over Steven's plan to put them in danger 'Your adorable Mr. Universe' she thought of saying but she didn't "I predict he won't be able to follow through" Sapphire smiled once again and tilted her head slightly to Y/N whom's giggles slightly reduced "Thats Steven for you!" Y/N managed to say "They're both right..." He felt like he was about burst "Ugh, I can't" he bit his lip and dropped the device. He turned around swiftly, blushed the literal color of his mothers hair, why were main characters so ashamed over emotions over their love interests? "Even if we are just pretending!" He walked over to the other gems "My Sapphire you were right!" Ruby exclaimed "And my Pretty One, you know the curly haired one best. don't you? So you could predict his actions!" Ruby held Y/N's hand "Well Connie knows him better, even if she told him about me once or twice" Y/N and Connie did in fact know each other before she met Steven, from elementary to this day "What do you predict will happen next?!" She asked excitingly "Well, the Spinel will pick that device up out of curiosity" Sapphire said "And probably press the button, I've watched enough movies to know that one" Y/N winked at Ruby "Hijinks will ensue," Sapphire summarized "Maybe we should try.." "Wait!!! Spinel!! No, no, no, no!!" Spinel pressed the button just as Steven finished, she startled to wobble all over the place and so did her voice "Don't touch that thing!" Sorry Steven, you were Padparadscha in this situation. As Spinel wobbled all over the place like the she was a slinky on a trampoline with White Diamond jumping on it she destroyed many things "Hey! We just built that!" Hard for Bismuth, it was her purpose to build. Steven had that 'o frick' look on his face. Spinel flew past them to the left and to the right again "Whoa here she comes!!" Peridot warned as Spinel flew past them holding the pizza cutter with only one hand, she nearly cut everyone in half "Spinel!!" Steven leaped on to her, releasing her her from her ride on the pizza cutter. The 2 watched as the saw would go up the tower, destroying Bismuth's scaffolding. The saw broke a shelf with three barrels and then dipped down "My scaffolding!!" Bismuth cried as all of her work was falling "My precious scaffolding!!" Bismuth cried once again "Wow! what happens next?" Ruby looked at the commotion, like it was a movie "In just a moment, the scaffolding will start falling all around you" Sapphire told her "What?" Ruby turn to Sapphire while the prediction was already happening, it startled her. She dodged all the pieces of wood falling around her along with the barrels, after all, she was meant to be this agile. "Wow!! you're amazing!" Ruby smiled at Sapphire "Hmph.." Sapphire blushed "Next, the Peridot will hold back some of the falling debris.." Steven took interest in this prediction "two large barrels will fall. The Bismuth will catch two of them" Steven looked back and saw Peridot doing as predicted, " I got this, Biz!" Peridot said even if she looked like she was struggling " Nice work Perido- Oh shucks!!" Bismuth looked at the falling barrels. She caught first one, just as she got the second one: the third one was already rolling away "Oh no!! the Heaven and Earth Beetles are out for their afternoon constitutional!" The Beetles were talking happily not knowing the barrel could crush them "The Lapis will rush in and save them at the last second" Lapis flew in like an eagle and swooped them up, falling on her stomach "Whew... You guys ok?" The Beetles gave her a thumbs up.

Every piece of wood or metal fell off of that side of the tower.

" Whoa..." Steven looked around the place, looked like it had been hit by a hurricane. "Is it......over?" Spinel was laying on the ground with her hands on her head " The saw!" Sapphire clutched her skirt and looked down " The saw will continue to cut!!" Y/N followed the saws trail up the tower with her eyes "The anvil......" She whispered underneath her breath " The anvil will fall!!" Y/N looked at Steven but he was already looking at her, fear in his eyes

The saw stabbed the pole of wood that held the anvil

"And you.... you will be Shattered!!"
Steven realized that Y/N, whom was standing much more closer to Ruby could get hurt.He summoned and threw his at shield at her, knocking her into Sapphire's arms.

The pole broke and anvil fell

"Huh? Ahh!!!" Ruby screamed as she looked up. But... wasn't crushed, another one of Rose's shield took the weight of the anvil "Huh?" She looked at the shield confused, the curly haired one was protecting her? "The curly haired one's power is fading!" Sapphire announced. As Steven strained the shield started to crack "Ruby!! I'm sorry!" Sapphire cried, she was holding Y/N by the side of her thigh, any more shaking of the ground would knock her out of Sapphires grip. "I told you, you wouldn't last the day!"

"Well, I'm glad fate allowed me to meet......

You......"

Ruby's last goodbye..

"NOO!!!"
The teens screamed

But Ruby felt two hands on her shoulders as the shield broke
