10| Dancing With Nightmare

DANCING WITH NIGHTMARE

Tonight I had entered the wrong room
Darkness had dressed me as her groom

I couldn't detect her like a hard riddle
She pulled my soul slowly in the middle

Back 'n' forth, we had an ecstasy dance
I was trapped by her strings of trance

I tried to untangle myself, it's too late
Her jar of Illusions kept me wide awake

Somewhere I had heard a familiar song
In the vintage radio, she sang along

My ears were electrified by her whisper
All the way to my system, I'd shivered

I sunk deep by her blue ocean eyes
Feeling her waves of sadness and lies

She had casted me a charming spell
My body was burned by fires of hell

I screamed by these shards of pain
Inside my bones, there were big chains

She laughed as she saw me hopeless
Painting my fragile heart with madness

She had dragged me into the open gates
For I don't know if this was my only fate

Every time, I tried to breathe for my life
She stabbed me hard with a sharp knife

Every step we made, we reached miles
I was badly drunk by her killer smile

This moment was like a vicious ride
I was choked by her poisonous tides

Every turn, I tried my way out to escape
Sadly I was captived by her black cape

Cape of darkness, I was lost in the lands
She wouldn't dare to let go of my hand

Lost in the dark paths with the shadows
I wished freedom but her heart is hollow

She doesn't care and she was reckless
Every time, she made my life a mess

I woke up for the warm light of reality
Inside my heart, I felt a blissful insanity

For every late at night, I felt utterly rare
The time I was dancing with nightmare
