[INT. CARRIE'S HOUSE- DAWN]

(Carrie walks to her stove and turns it on. She puts a pot full of water on the burner. Kerry and Philip sit on the couch next to each other. Carrie stands out in the kitchen until the tea is done. Carrie brings two tea cups full of tea out to the table by the couch)

CARRIE:

So, Kerry who's your friend?

KERRY:

This is Philip.

PHILIP:

Hello.

CARRIE: 

I think I heard about you before.

PHILIP:

I own a Club called The Dirty Girls. It's two blocks away from here.

CARRIE (Excited):

Oh my gosh! The great Philip Sallon? No way!

PHILIP:

So, you've heard of me?

CARRIE:

Are you kidding?  Everyday in the newspaper. (Laughs) How did you meet Kerry?

(Philip drinks from his teacup then sets it back down)

PHILIP:

She came into the club today.

CARRIE:

Kerry, you never go to London City? Why start now?

KERRY:

I was having some home problems.

CARRIE:

Really, like what?

KERRY:

I'd rather not say.

CARRIE:

Okay. Okay. So you guys just met today?
