Bakugo finally took one of the white towels [____] had dropped earlier and used it to blot and squeeze parts of his wet hair, which instantly gained volume as it kept drying.
"Did I just say something too risky?!" The girl took note that the awkward silence meant he was thinking about it; and Bakugo thinking about anything could end very badly if he didn't understand it well. So she continued to speak just to try to clarify what was already obvious.
"W-What I meant to say was that—!! You and me, we're friends now. Even though we weren't really close in grade school, I still hung out with you just as much as I did with Izuku, which isn't even a lot because I left to travel weeks after our first fight, but—!! F-Friends, we do things like this right?!
