People say your mind is very strong and can make you do things that you didn't even know you could do.
Jax is a person who can agree with that.
He was a straight A student in highschool. Never failed any classes or missed any.
Once he graduated he had so many chances to go to so many great colleges, but something happened that he never chose to go to any. His highschool sweetheart left him for no reason. Causing him to just mope around at home and not wanting to do anything in life. He knew he shouldn't let that get to him. But he was hurt. He lost his only happiness.
His parents had enough of him and kicked him out. So he went to a new town.
He got a job at a cafe. It was great. Or that's what he said. Besides the wrong orders or getting coffee, both iced and hot, thrown at him and being called every curse word in the dictionary. It was..decent.
He also didn't live in the greatest town. He lives in a run down apartment complex where he would tend to hear police sirens at least twice a week. But hey. That's what he could afford for now. It's not like he had enough money.
He always wondered what his life would be like if he didn't reject all the scholarships and such. He would always blame himself and his ex partner.
Now. He just prays all his somewhat hard work will pay off.
