Will anyone believe,when I say
I was the child of Night
While she was dark and gloomy
I was cheerful and bright

While my Mother lurks in the darkest corners of Tartarus,
I soar in the clear blue skies
I bring hope and help mortals see clearly
While my Mother brings about distress and blinds them

My Mother and I are two polar opposites
We were never meant to be with each other
So I stayed clear from her
Every conversation we had always turned into an ugly argument
Every belief and moral we had were complete opposites
My Mother wanted to conquer the world
while I just wanted to bring light to the mortals

But oh Mother how I wish you knew
That no matter how evil and harsh you were to me
I still miss you
The scorching sun,the fluffy clouds and the clear blue sky made me happy for a while,but what I miss is spending time with you despite how nasty you were to me

It's been so Long that my memories of you are fading,your looks,your features and words are resounding further and further

So Mother,I regret not being able to be by your side but at the same time I will force myself never to forget you
For you were the one who brought me into this world and was part of my journey in growing up...

A/N:
Wassup!!!So how did u find my poem? I may hate my parents but I Guess I'm too young to understand,therefore I wrote this poem as a prediction of my future self if I remain with the same mindset. This is also an important message to u guys that no matter how diff your frequencies are between u n your parents,when u do something u regret it affects the parties on both sides,it turns your relationship bitter.So do cherish your parents while u can no matter how diff u are,alright?

This is also a POV(point of view) where I see from the perspective of someone who has been through the hardship of their parents' divorce,which suggests that he or she is regretful that they did not cherish their parent and treasure them till a simple piece of divorce paperwork shatters n completely twists their lives.
