I was standing outside of the retirement home afraid to go in,
Does she think I just left her?
Does she think something happened?
All these thoughts ran through my head,
"Will she even remember me?" I mumbled
I take a deep breath,
"Well here goes nothing," I mumbled
I walked in to the secretary
"Can I help you sweetheart?" She asked
I nodded
"I'm here to see Peggy Carter," I said
she nodded
"Second floor room 6," She said smiling at me
"Thank You," I said
I walked in to her room,
"Mom..." I whispered
She looked at me,
"Zoey, .... you're alive," She looked at me with tear filled eyes

"I'm alive," I said dropping my back pack at the door making my way to her hugging her
"You look the same as the day you went missing.." She said
"I don't know what happened mom I woke up in this strange place," I said still hugging her
"It's alright my little star you're safe now," She said petting my hair
I sat down next to her now that I get a good look at her she looked rundown and tired did I do this to her? she thought I was dead,
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Mom asked
"Of course not sweetheart," She said smiling at me
"Mis Visitor hours are soon over," The nurse said
I nodded I pick up my backpack I kiss her on the cheek but before I leave,
"Zoey... you're alive?" She said
my eyes got wide I looked at the nurse
"She has Alzheimers" The nurse said
With that I had to get out of there, Just before I got to the door I bumped into someone he had blondish hair and blue eyes,
"Excuse me," I said running out
after running for sometime I got to a roof I felt tears welling in my eyes
