"Let me go, Jason." Percy grunted irritably at his friend, who had an arm around his shoulder to support him as the walked up the Half Blood Hill.

"Headass, I didn't even want you out of rest. At least shut up and let Jason help you." Will said, shaking his head fondly.

Percy had just started to walk without wincing. Will had suggested that Percy should rest up for another day before returning, but Percy being the stubborn little shit he is, had been adamant about going back.

Sally had been hesitant, but she had let him go back to camp, but not before scolding him.

"My beautiful baby boy." She muttered, running her hand through his hair. "Promise me something, will you?" She asked gently, and Percy subconsciously leaned into her comforting hand.

"Anything, mom." He said, smiling that trouble making, mischievous smile at her. That smile that had made her heart melt as she held him in her arms when he was born.

It was amazing how that gummy smile had not changed, and her ability to melt for it had not changed too.

"Stay strong, forever sweetie. Never ever ever give up, you understand? You are the one of the most strongest person I've ever known, you've been through so much. Don't let this stupid thing get to you, yeah? Always be yourself. Never change." She whispered.

And before Percy could reply, she twisted his ear. Percy yelped.

"And you are going to tell Annabeth. This isn't something you should keep from her. You should tell her, you silly boy. We are getting through this as a family."

Percy had grumbled, but he agreed none the less. He had thought about it and- well, his mother was right.

She deserves to be aware of this.

Jason snorted and how Percy muttered incoherently about Will, and rebelliously tightened his hold on Percy.

Just then, a small figure came running down the hill. Percy squinted to see who it was, and was surprised to see Harley rushing down the hill.

"Percy!" He exclaimed, and ran into Percy and hugged him fiercely.

OW WHAT THE HELL YOU JUST WENT THROUGH A SURGERY YOU FUCKER MAKE THE KID LET YOU GO his back screamed, but he promptly ignored the crushing pain that came with the impact and ruffled Harley's hair.

"Hey kiddo, what's up? Why are you running down the hill? You know you are not allowed to come out of the boundaries, yeah? What if there was some monster? They could have attacked you." He said gently, and kneeled down to his height, ignoring the "FUCKER'' his back says to him again.

His heart sunk when he saw tears that were flowing down the boy's cheeks. His eyes were red rimmed, and his nose was pink, but the boy was smiling.

"Aww, why are you crying, or errr laug-" he started.

Another voice was suddenly heard. "Harley!" It was Christopher. "Harley, where are you?"

"He's with us!" Jason called back, and Christopher turned towards the source.

"Thank Holy Hera it's you guys!" He exclaimed and rushed towards them. He promptly flicked Harley's forehead.

"You know that you are absolutely forbidden from leaving the boundaries, what were you thinking?"
He scolded the boy, and Harley shrunk back. Percy rubbed the boy's back soothingly.
