I'm Your Protector, Henry Bowers's Little Sister (Eddie x Reader)

I sat in the back of the car with my arms crossed and had a ticked off look permanently plastered on my face I couldn't believe Henry....

It was like he thought of me as this defenseless baby that he needed to keep an eye on constantly....

A few days went by and I sat on the porch watching the trees sway in the wind, I missed my friends and I was letting summer just slip through my fingers. Dad was working later so he spent most of his days sleeping when he came home from a long night at work and Henry had been keeping close eye on me, even when dad was home it didnt matter it's only quiet now because Henry left with his friends early this morning and dad left for his shift an hour ago. I sat there resting my elbows on my knees and my chin rested in my hands, but then I saw Stan and Richie and Billy and Eddie riding by I wanted to wave and call them over...but at the same time I didn't want Henry to have a damn cow about it either so I kept quiet watching them ride their bikes. I looked down at my feet when I heard bike tires screech and I glance up to see the boys at the end of the drive way

"Hey (Y/N)!!"
Stan called out to me and waved, I smile softly and wave back and watched the boys walk their bikes up the driveway, they reached my house and plopped their bikes onto the grass next to mine and then stood at the steps
"Were going to the arcade to play some video games wanna come?"
Richie asked, at first I wanted to tell them I couldnt... but ya know what fuck it!
"Sure I'd love to"
I say hopping off every other step and got on my bike and rode off with the four boys, we reach the arcade and go inside. I exchange a couple dollars for quarters and walked down the aisle to look at the games, Richie of course went straight to street fighter and Bill went to play asteroids and as for me I wanted to play one of the classics and that was miss Pacman. I took a quarter and began playing watching the blobs carefully as I played, Eddie walked up to me and watched as I played like a champ
"Wow you're really good (Y/N)"
He complimented , I smirk at his compliment
"Thanks Eds I have gotten pretty good over the last couple years"
I got to the end and got into the third place high score
"Dang so close"
Eddie smiled and pointed to the top one
"That's my high score"
He said proudly, I looked at the screen then at him
" not bad not bad...but perhaps I can top that"
I say with a smirk
"Oh yeah?"
Eddie asked crossing his arms which he couldn't do very well with his cast now, I smirked at him
"Oh yes Kasbrak I guarantee I'll beat it how about a bet?"
Eddie raised an eyebrow curiously
"I'm listening "
I smile
"If I win.....and beat your high score you have to take me on a date "
I say smiling, Eddie's face turned a bright red color and I giggled
"I mean unless you're scared I'll beat you or something "
I say with a smirk, Eddie cleared his throat and held out his hand
"You're on Bowers"
He said feeling confident,  I shake his hand and then take my quarter and put it into the machine and began playing again....

The game seems like it went on forever, I was so focused on beating that score
"Wow what's got her so focused?"
Richie asked after he finished his game
"(Y/N) is trying to beat my high score"
Eddie said crossing his arms, some kids even watched and cheered me on as the high score points getting closer to the screen and finally after so long on this game, I finished and beat Eddie's high score and raised my hands in the air
"Woooo yes yes yes yes!!!!! I won I beat your highscore"
I say pointing at Eddie whose mouth is ajar slightly looking at the screen in disbelief
"No way you beat my highscore "
He says looking at the screen again
"Ah but it is so and I won fair and square "
I said proudly and crossed my arms with a smirk
"So you have to fulfill our bet....one date"
I say with a smirk making Eddie's face go red again
"F-Fine okay"
He finally mutters out, I smile
"Meet me at the movie theater at seven....see you then Eds "
I say patting his cheek then turned and left the arcade

Eddie's POV:

I cant believe I got a date with (Y/N)!!! This was amazing and yet I was really nervous alot the same
"You have date with (Y/N) ?!"
Richie shouted
"Yes dammit keep your voice down"
I said putting a hand on Richie's mouth
"You should get her something "
Stan pointed out to me
"Get her what? I've never been on a date with a girl before"
I say taking a puff of my inhaler
"W-w-well help you out Eddie"
Billy exclaimed and I nodded and so we exited the arcade to plan out the date I have with the most beautiful girl in the universe

(Y/N) POV:
The day seemed to go by faster then usual probably because I was so excited about this date with Eddie, I went to my closet so find something cute to wear except most of my clothes are so tom boyish. I dug in my drawers and I found a cute lacey black shirt and some jean shorts. I then brushed my hair and put it up in a bun and let some of my bangs hang over one of my eyes and I even broke out my secret stash of make up and put some eye shadow on and some lip gloss and looked myself over....

I then snuck downstairs and saw that Henry wasnt home, phew, I then got outside and got onto my bike and rode off heading for the theater my heart pounding the whole way there. I reached the theater but stopped a block away to get my composure, I glanced down where the building was and didnt see Eddie yet so I walked my bike down the sidewalk and then parked it in the bike rack they had outside and I waited patiently, at this point my heart was pounding in my ears I was so nervous. I waited what seemed like forever looking down both paths of the sidewalk still no sign of him which made my hopes deflate a bit, I looked at my watch and it was 7:30....

I was about to turn and go back home when I heard someone behind me
"Hey (Y/N)"
I turn to find Eddie looking all handsome in a nice button down shirt tucked into some jean shorts that went to his knee and he even had a rose in his hand, oh my gosh!!!

"Sorry I'm a little late"
He said offering me the rose. I took it with a smile
"Its fine Eddie really "
He then opened the door for me
"Shall we?"
He asked me and I nodded, we got into the theater and Eddie bought our tickets and I chipped in for some popcorn and soda. We then get into the movie theater and sit in the way back so we could see the screen better, the previews start and I crunch on some popcorn
"Ya know...I was kinda worried"
I whisper to him
"About what ?"
He whispered back
"That you weren't gonna come.."
I say a little softer, he put his hand over mine
"I wouldn't do that to you"
I glance up at him
"Even though I'm a Bowers?"
I asked now usually when people find out that I'm the school bully's little sister, lots of people take off because of it, Eddie shook his head
"I dont care about that what I care about is us having fun on this date and nothing else"
He said with a smile and I smile back at him.....

Our attention then returns to the movie, it was a rather good one I'm more of a scary movie kinda chick but I wasnt for sure if Eddie wanted to watch something scary so we chose an action movie which was my second favorite type of movie. I then could of sworn I felt eyes on me and I turn my head to see Eddie staring at me
"Problem Kasbrak?"
I ask him raising an eyebrow
"No no just....you look really pretty is all"
He said softly and it made me blush a little
"Oh....well....thanks I guess"
I say a bit bashfully no one has ever called me pretty before I guess its cause I hardly dress like this and I'm more of a blend into the crowd kinda gal but tonight it was nice to look pretty especially for the boy I had such strong feelings for.....
