A few day's later Kelly managed to get a weeks furlough. He and Beth we're busy discussing where they would go.
BETH: London? Paris? New York? Santa Barbara? Dublin?
Kelly laughed
KELLY: Do you have houses in all those places?
BETH: Yip!
KELLY: Honey i'd rather we just stay here and stay in bed!
BETH: Mmmmm! (laughing)
They started kissing
BETH: Santa Barbara it is! Right on the beach!
KELLY: I wont be able to get used to all of your money!
BETH: It's only paper! (laughing) I'm gonna call Geoff!
KELLY: Who's Geoff?
BETH: My pilot of course!
They spent a blissful week in Sanata Barbara at Beth's beach front property! No distractions and no Mark! Taking walks along the beach , making love in front of the huge living room fire.
BETH: I never knew it could be like this
KELLY: What?
BETH: Love
He smiled at her. That beautiful moment was interupted by Beth's cell buzzing
BETH: Tut!
KELLY: How many times has he texted you today?
BETH: About twenty! I'll need to change my number!
KELLY: He need's a visit from someone!
BETH: We'll send around Shaylynn! (laughing)
Kelly laughed along with Beth
KELLY: She would definately sort him out!
BETH: i can't believe were going back to Chicago tomorrow!
KELLY: Time flies when you're having fun!
He grinned at her which made her laugh
Kelly got up
KELLY: You want another glass of wine?
BETH: Yes please
KELLY: I'll just bring the bottle through, shall we go out to dinner?
BETH: I suppose i'd better feed you!
KELLY: Well i need to keep my strength up to attend to you!
BETH: Oh you make it sound so much like a chore!
He laughed as he finally got to the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of beer and Beth's wine from the fridge. When he got back to the living room Beth was texting Shaylynn

KELLY: Who are you texting?
BETH: Shaylynn! (laughing)
She held the phone up so Kelly could see what she messaged her
KELLY: Babe! (laughing)

He poured some wine into Beth's glass
