CHAPTER NINE.

- PRESENT

jack always wore what he called, "happy
colors". he would usually match a yellow
shirt with light blue jeans and yellow slip
on vans. or a blush pink shirt with light
blue jeans and pink converse.

but today was different. the boy came in,
in a black shirt, dark wash jeans and all
black vans. he even put his hair in a bun
and even put in a fake nose ring.

he still walked into school with a
contagious smile, although.

his change in appearance made zach have
a confused expression painted on his skin.
his eyebrows were furrowed when he met
jack at his locker.

" what's with the new look? "

he eyed the boy up and down, seeing a blue
bead bracelet adding a pop of color to his look.

" you wear this stuff a lot and i wanna be
just like you. "

the angel of a boy replied, his brown eyes
mixing with zachs.

his reply made a small smile appear on
zach face.

" it looks good on you. but this will make
it look better. "

zach unlatched the chain necklace around
his neck and hung it upon jack's. making
the boy blush and bat his eyelashes.

" thank you, zachy. "

he fiddled with the metal, his cheeks still
having a noticeable blush.

" well now i have to give you something. "

he racked his brain of something he could
give to the boy. his eyes widening in
happiness once he figured out the perfect
last minute present.

he rolled the blue bracelet off of his small
wrist and put it on zachs. lacing their fingers
together after he did so.

" there. "

they smiled to each other. wanting their
little moment to last forever.

" thank you, jack. i'll never take it off. "
