Chapter 37: Fun Russell.

Who is Fun Russell?

The real question is: What is Fun Russell?

Fun Russell is like a phenomenon; A rare occurrence.

It started way back in middle school when Russell's friends relentlessly accused him of being too serious in all sorts of situations all the time, so Russell decided to make a change. He wouldn't be so serious anymore... he'd be fun. He wanted to prove a point. He can be fun if he wants to, he just chooses not to.

It isn't often that Russell truly lets loose and becomes so laid back that he doesn't worry about consequences, results, and even reason, so when he decided to change his personality back then, it awoken something deep inside of him.

Unfortunately, he took the idea of being a fun guy way too seriously, and it took over his entire personality. Russell unknowingly created an entirely new persona by doing this.

Fun Russell only cares about all things fun. Fun Russell doesn't care about safety in dangerous situations. Fun Russell is bold, he doesn't hold back, and he is absolutely wild. Fun Russell is the personified version of Russell flipping a light switch.

Russell's friends quickly learned that trying to make Russell a fun guy was a big mistake, and they shouldn't have pushed this change in him. They had no idea it'd get so out of hand, and so from then on, they were always careful around Russell, watching for certain signs that could cause or trigger Fun Russell to come back out again.

You'd think it couldn't get any worse, but there is something even more rare than a regular Fun Russell personality switch, which Russell's friends have dubbed:

Fun Russell Friday.

Fun Russell Fridays only occur when the following happens to Russell: he finishes all his homework, he finishes a good book he's been reading for a while, and he gets a good grade on a stressful project. Also, all of it has to occur on a Friday.

When a Fun Russell Friday happens, Russell is suddenly the most happiest, wildest version of himself, and it's even more difficult to stop and calm down this crazy persona.

So, take this as a warning to everyone, everywhere: Beware of Fun Russell.
