"You have to trust me, father I know what I am doing," A desperate Maia said. "Do you really expect me to send a young woman off on a hunt?" The captain Ihaia said sternly "Women are not used for hunts and never will be". "But, Father tell me this for what is the difference between women and men, for if you do not tell me I will never understand," Maia said feeling like a servant at this moment. "I will tell you this and you will understand no matter what I say," Ihaia said getting into the frustrated mood. "Why women are women the same way as men are men and men are strong and valiant," Ihaia said getting to his point "a battlefield is no place for a pretty girl".  "But, Father you must know that I have improved in everything men do," Maia says in the last desperation to try and get on the winning side of this argument. "I must be off," Ihaia said and so he went with 26 other men who were ready to hunt and feed there wives on moa flesh. "For we ride on" Ihaia screamed and soon they were only a silhouette in the night sky.
