We define Ourselves (Blank Verse)

"We are what we are"

My Friends, The Millennials, please listen.

It's time where we must join together.

For the new silent will not define our

Generation. We can define ourselves.

We must show them that we're not going to

stand by while they give us a bad name.

Sure, we may be lazy at times and all

we may think about is our cell phones and

we may be antisocial to others.

At times we can be immature when it

comes to political nominations

but we had made changes to the world. Like,

being passionate about changing laws

for gender equality and marriages rights.

We have learn to express our minds along

with our hearts to change the world for the better

than the generation before us. So

don't let anyone put you down my friends.

Love yourself and don't be ashamed about

yourself for we are the generation

that every single being will remember.
