sometimes we're all our own antagonists,
it can take years to wonder how to become the protagonist of the story,
but we are all flawed deep down,
hearts inflamed and soaked in pain.

there's no difference between the antagonist and the protagonist,

because we're all evil at times,

there's no elixir of perfection,
no tonic of goodness.

what we have will have to suffice.

we can't change ourselves. so we need to learn to accept ourselves.
