~Tifa's POV~
"And is the preacher guy still coming?" I ask Beverly, the woman helping me organize our wedding.
"As far as I know," she nods, typing away on her laptop.
"Well if he doesn't show up, we could always get Barret to do it," Vincent suggests with a humored smile.
"If he did that, he'd say 'foo' and 'morons' too much," I laugh. Beverly looks confused. Probably because she doesn't know Barret.
"I don't understand..."
"That's okay, just keep going down the list," I wave her off. She goes down the long list of guests, half of which probably won't show up, and bores Vincent to death. I honestly don't think he cares about theme or decorations that much. He just wants to get married already.
"I still need your flower girl and ring bearer for the program."
"Well then we're lucky for the set backs then, huh?" I laugh lightly even though the two give me blank faces. I roll my eyes and frown. "Mikey was supposed to do the rings."
"What happened? He got too scared?" Bev asks.
"He died," I mumble, twinge of hurt inside my heart. He didn't deserve any of it. He was only two.
"... Oh," she says softly. Then she sighs. "Look, not to sound insensitive or anything, but do you have anyone else or are you not gonna have someone like that?"
"Do you think Derek?" I look at Vince. He shakes his head.
"What about Denzel?" Bev offers. I shrug and look over at Vincent again. He shrugs too.
"Sure, why not?" Why doesn't he want Derek to be anything? Probably another stupid trust thing.
"And your flower girl?"
"Marlene," I smile. I see Vincent smile too and remember how fond he's become of the little girl.
"Aw, she's so cute!" Beverly coos and types that in. "Alright, we've already got everything set up. Cloud Strife as Best Man or whatever and Yuffie as Maiden of Honor, or also whatever."
"... Yeah," Vincent eyes her and gives me a look. You sure she knows what you're doing? I nod and look back at our planner.
"Alrighty then. Isaac has your dress at this very moment wants to have you try it on again before Saturday, if that's alright, and same for Vincent, only Trish wants to meet with you."
"Wait, Isaac's a guy, right?" He frowns.
"He's gay, Vincent," I mutter.
"Oh, so Trish is..."
"Yes."
"Oh."
"Right. So now that that's settled, get out of here," Beverly waves us out with a playful smile.
"See you later then," I kiss Vincent's cheek.
"So wait, where's Trish?" He frowns, holding my arm loosely.
"Cloud'll pick you up in a fee minutes, okay?"
"What about you?"
"Isaac's at the bar," I smile. He sighs and pulls me closer, kissing me gently. And he doesn't stop until Cloud's motorcycle can be heard rumbling a few blocks down. When he does break away, we're both panting for air and grinning.
