CHAPTER 29: I'M HERE NOW! 🦆

"Sooyoung-ah, where should I put your tracker?" Wheein hyung asked while looking at Sooyoung. "Seungwan, give me your right claw" I said in a low tone and Seungwan quickly obey. I patted her head gently while carefully tying the tracker I made, securely. "Awck! Its quite heavy!" Seungwan said and again I patted her on the head. "I will make it more lighter later but for now bear with it, okay?" I re-assured the two parrots while they were looking at me, suspiciously. "Don't move too much, Joy" I heard Wheein hyung said while struggling to put the tracker on Sooyoung. I let out a sighed and placed Seungwan on my shoulder as I poke Sooyoung's head. "Sooyoung-ah, please. We're already running out of time" I said in calm way but my eyes shows seriousness. "Fine. Awck!" Sooyoung said and walked over my lap. I carefully tied the tracker and she tries to fly. "Awck! Heavy!" she said and tried to flap her wings more to get comfortable. "You're doing good, Joy" I complimented her hard work before we went off the van. Wheein hyung locks the door and leads us somewhere near our target, but won't uncovered our disguise.

"You guys, ready?" Wheein hyung asks, once we spotted the van.

Fast Forward: [Few minutes passed-- hidden spot]

"Is that the same girl you were with at the mall?" Wheing hyung asked while looking towards HYEWON'S direction. I nodded my head slowly and poke Sooyoung's head. "Sooyoung-ah, make sure to claw her phone tighter enough for it to broke. Okay?" I reminded the green parrot and she jumped on my cap, twice. "Awck! Don't messed up!" Seungwan reminded her girlfriend before it flies towards the FIRST target's direction. By the distance, were watching Sooyoung flies not to far from the girl who's patiently waiting in front of the mall. "You should send her a text now before the others come out of the mall" Wheein hyung said and I immediately type something on my phone, few seconds later, Hyewon finally fished out her phone but even before she type in, Sooyoung already clawed her phone and teases her a bit. "Yah! Parrot!" Hyewon said while chasing the parrot. "Sooyoung's nailing it. Hahaha" I said, feeling proud and then Seungwan started flapping her wings. "Awck!" she said which hyung and I giggle. She's also proud of her girlfriend. "That girl is pretty, YN" hyung suddenly said and wink at me. I was about to react but Sooyoung is already on her way back to us with Hyewon chasing her from behind. "Yah!" Hyewon whine while panting. She didn't recognize my eyes YET. Yes people, I'm wearing a mask. "Get in the van, Joy" Wheein hyung said while leading the way back to the van with Sooyoung laying on her cap. "My phone!?" Hyewon raises her voice and was about to run after the two when Seungwan flaps her wings and fly somewhere else which kinda startled Hyewon and she back away. "Is that how you greeted a friend, Kang Hyewon?" I asked while eye smiling at her. She immediately covered her mouth in shock. "Luan!?" she said in surprise and I just nodded my head, also gesturing her to be quite. "Get in the van. You're coming with me" I said and stared at her in assurance. "But-- I cut her off and lowered down my mask under my chin. "Trust me" I seriously said and I saw her hesitation. "Hyewon, please. I don't have enough time to explain, get in the van now" I repeated and just in time we heard a familiar voice by the distance.

"She's coming with us, don't worry" I re-assured her and sigh in relief when Hyewon started walking towards the van. "Awck!" Seungwan drop the phone on my hand and immediately flies back the van then a running figure is already approaching me. "YAH!" she shouted at me, but quickly widen her eyes when she realized WHO I AM. I just pointed Hyewon, who's sitting at the van while peeking her head through the open window. "Fine-- but explain what is this all about LATER!" the duck happily said before skipping her way towards the van. I put my face mask on and waited for the LAST target.

Time skipped: [The next day-- guest room]

"I can't believe this YN! This is not the time to play hide and seek!? We need to go back NOW" Seulgi eonnie said to me in frustration. I already told her what happened from A-Z and what is about to happen few days from now but obviously, she's against with it. "I don't have a freaking choice, eonnie. Please, help me" I pleaded her while looking straight into her eyes in desperation. "But, Luan-- she'll be hurt by this" Hyewon said a fact as I started massaging my temples. "Don't tell me you're going to break all of your promises again JUST to save her one more time?!" Seulgi eonnie said in sarcasm which made me sigh, a frustrated one. "Try to put yourself in her shoes, eonnie" Yeri said in a duh tone, as the atmosphere became silent for a couple of seconds. "Wheein hyung, kindly ready the van and drive HER back to the land" I stated, looking at my sister, dead in the eye before I stood up from my seat. "I hate to say this but, I'm staying with Luan-- you can go back now, Kwangbae." Yena said as she followed me towards the door. "Count me in" Hyewon said in assurance as she wraps an arm over the duck's shoulder. "Can't wait to get back on tracks. Awck!!" Seungwan said as she flies on top of my beanie. "See you soon, Seulgi eonnie" Yeri said in sarcasm as she carried Sooyoung in her arms. "Drive safely, hyung" the words I say before I finally exits the guest room in disappointment. "You should have kidnap Joohyun eonnie instead. That dumb bear won't cooperate! Tsk!" Yeri said as she rolled her eyes at me before entering her room followed by the three parrots. I sigh in disappointment, walking my way downstairs. "Don't be sad Luan, I'm here now!" Yena clings her arm to me as she also flashes me an assuring smile. "Yuri will kill me once she knows about this, my Princess duckling" I smirk at her but she just roll her eyes at me and pointed her index finger at Hyewon.

"Trust me, she won't because Hyewon is also here" Yena smirk even more which I kinda confuses me, specificially when the mentioned girl, glared at her.
