Chapter five

Good morning everyone, i said while taking a seat. You woke up late, i was about to ask ur mom about you but i guess you were in my thoughts, abba said grinning a little. I just smiled back thinking there was no need for explanation, i guess.

Well, I'm going. I'll be late if i spend a second more, i said while standing up. Take care of yourself and make sure you get something in that stomach, i heard mum yelling. The same dialogue every day,  I'd have memorized it by now. Though I know i had to eat because of what the doctor said. I almost had an ulcer attack fews months ago because i barely eat. Maybe because i dont feel hungry or I'm already used to it.

I've done a few things before i headed for class because i was a little bit early. Classes were over and usual always have a headache after them. Well I'm the the type that keeps lots of friends, i had only one amazing friend that was yusra. I'd hangout with a few classmates sometimes.

Imaan? He called my name his tone clearly stating how serious he was. My dad was the type that plays a lot especially with his family, but we get along more than my remaining siblings.
I know you will be wondering why i called you at this time? He said and i just listened hoping there's nothing wrong in my heart.
Well, i think its time i hand over my responsibilities towards you to someone. I felt a pang in my heart. What possibly could he mean. Now I'm freaking confused.
Kina jina? (Do you hear me?). He asked maybe he noticed that i spaced out.
Yes,  Abba. I said with a blank look.
Good, I think its time you tell Fahad to come and ask for your hand in marriage. What? No, I'd admit that I had been waiting for this day? But i think it early. Ya Aisha just got married a year ago. Me? Now?  Marriage? Fahad? 
Inform me when he has made arrangement for coming with the elders, okay? He said while rising from the sofa.
Okay, dad? I said almost whispering for him to hear me.
Good night princess, always know that i love you so much. He let out a smile. I smiled back. I know dad, Good night.

The phone rang every ring made my heart pang. Hello babe, was just about to call you? He said as i heard him giggling.
I guess i couldn't wait till you called. I smiled as if he could see me.
Forget that, what's wrong, your voice is down, are you okay? I heard him say.

I'm okay, but there is something i need to tell you? I said faintly. Something in me was giving me the exact opposite of what i should feel. Wasn't i suppose to be eager to tell him what dad said? I thought it was every girls dream to get married to the one she loves? Instead I'm feeling so restless.
