The pod was propped up against pieces of rubble and ceiling, cracks slowly forming along the smooth glass. The cracked panel lit up in the dark, quiet room. Tom lay perfectly still, ice slowly forming along the edges of his chin and nose that turned his face scarlet. The panel read:

Status: Sleeping
Years: 1
The room shifted, causing more rubble to drop down onto the pod. The pod shuddered for the first time since Tom was put to sleep. The panel glitched, the green flashing a bright white before returning to its original color. The panel was wiped entirely blank except for 2 words perfectly placed in the middle of the screen. It read:

It glitched again, and the screen turned black. Everything was quiet.
