52. The Killing Goal

Rue POV

"Rue!!!" I heard Jules's voice.

She was here.

"You think you can just run away from me. Your own lover!" Vanessa slammed my head against the floor. I was losing my vision.

But I couldn't give up, I had to protect Jrue.

Jules and somehow my mother was banging the door down.

I kicked Vanessa off of me.

"We were not lovers! You're crazy!" I yell.

"Help me!" I scream.

Vanessa hit her head on the frame of the bed and was half knocked out. She was still conscious and ready to kill me.

"AGH!!!!!" She picked up the knife and thrashed my way.

I blocked quick enough and she fell forward. I was near death with her.

It was hard moving around with a baby in me.

"Agh!" I heard. Jules had finally knocked down the door.

"Get the hell away from my daughter!" Mom slammed her purse onto Vanessa's head. Vanessa still swung the knife around. It sliced apart of mom's arm. She screamed and moved backward.

"Stop!" Jules thrashed her fist at Vanessa.

"She doesn't love you!" Vanessa screamed at Jules.

Jules gave her another blow, sending her into the window.

I tried to regain my balance.

"Mom. Are you okay?" I limped to her.

Jules ran to me helping me up.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah." I kissed her.

"JULES! WATCH OUT!" Mom screamed. But it was too late.

Vanessa had slashed the knife in Jules side making her slouch and scream.

Dr. Hagen and security finally rushed in.

"JULES!" I screamed.

Tears were pouring far from my eyes.

"R-R-Rue. I-I l-l-love you. I'll always l-love you and J-Jrue." Jules said as blood gushed through her stomach.

"It's okay we're gonna save you." I said crying.

Unsure if Jules was gonna live.

"Get her up." Dr. Hagen demanded the security.

I looked around.

Oh fuck!

Vanessa escaped.
