The thumping noise that infiltrated my ears was something I was not used to, especially at ten o’clock at night. Disregarding it, thinking that it was all part of my dream, I turned my back on the sound hoping to regain what peaceful sleep I had.

Fifteen minutes passed and the thumping was apparent in my average size room. This was now the time when I started to freak out. Maybe watching Paranormal Activity last night wasn’t the best idea. Listening harder, I wanted to locate the noise. Thump Thump Thump. Three thumps all at the same decibel. I sighed as I pushed my duvet off me and blindly walked to my balcony. As I looked outside,  I didn’t expect piercing blue eyes to be staring right into mine.
