Saturday night everyone gathered at Adam's house for his party. Becky had pulled Seth over to dance as the song, "Friends" by Chase Atlantic to play.
Dean was talking with Adam and Kyle as he leaned against the house. He looked over as Becky began to dance with Seth.
Girl, tell me what you're doing on the other side
And so, just tell me what you're doing with that other guy
Dean watched with heavy eyes as Becky pushed her hair back and danced back into Seth.
Cos' I ain't got patience
To slow down the bass
All your girlfriends are wasted
They need it, they chase it
Dean took a sip of his beer as Becky glanced over at him.
Face it
You want it, you crave it
Believe when I say that you'll know once you taste it
Dean leaned his head back against the house as he took notice of how trashed Becky was.
All of your friends have been here for too long
They must be waiting for you to move on
Girl, I'm not with it I'm way too far gone
I'm not ready, eyes heavy now
After the morning Dean had, he'd gotten an early start on drinking.
Heart on your sleeve like you've never been loved
Running in circles, now look what you've done
Give you my word as you take it and run
Wish you'd let me stay I'm ready now
Becky turned around and faced Seth. They were both drunk but they were having a good time.
Just give me some time and space to realize
That you, were busy lying sleeping 'round with other guys.
Dean took another sip of his beer as his eyes filled with tears.
What the hell were we?
Tell me we weren't just friends
Becky suddenly leaned in and kissed Seth on the lips.
This doesn't make much sense
Dena couldn't watch anymore when Becky started making out with Seth.
But I'm not hurt, I'm tense
Adam and Kyle watched with concern as Dean threw down his beer bottle.
Cos' I'll be fine without you babe
Everyone turned their heads to look at Dean, including Becky and Seth. Dean just stormed off through the crowd. Seth looked at Becky with blurred vision when he realized she was just putting on a show.
"I need another drink." Seth said as he walked off.
Becky stood there there for a moment by herself, quickly realizing what she had just done.
On Adam's front porch, Nikki was trying to call Artem but he wasn't answering.
"Hey." Seth said as he walked onto the porch.
Nikki put her phone down and gave her attention to Seth. She looked him up and down for a moment, quickly noticing how drunk he was.
"Is everything okay?" Nikki asked him.
