"Indomitable" A RWBY FanFiction

Long Track Ahead

Jumping down from Yangs bunk i almost land on Ven whos laying on the ground.

(Ven) " hey watch it!"

(Y:n) "me? You're the one whos laying on the ground!"

(Ven) " well it doesnt help that there is no room to sit, youre with Yang and Noir is with Weiss!"

(Y:n) " what about Blake and Ruby?"

(Ven) " well Ruby shoved me off hence why im on the floor and Blake..."

I slightly look over to see blake giving the "if you come near me i will eat you" eyes

(Ven) " Yeah just terrified of her..."

I just shake my head and step over him, looking at the bottom bunk i see Weiss and Noir laying down, Noir resting his eyes and Weiss reading while leand against him with her head on his shoulder, looking up i see Ruby playing video games on her scroll.

I walk out of the room and start to loose my balance as the train starts to speed up, catching myself on the window seal i almost tople a small old lady.

(Y:n) "oh jeez im sorry mam"

As my eyes try to find the person they shift downwards near the ground, where i see bright blue gogals stareing back.

(???) "Oh no worries young man, these rides can get quite bumpy!"

With that she slowly walks off with her cane in hand. I make my way down the hall and find the bathroom, after i do my thing and wash up, leaning down i grab a towel and get it wet to wash my face, I toss that one and get a fresh one from the rack to dry my face.

As i lean up still drying my face i look into the mirror. I freeze. With another figure in the mirror I make out that same mask i saw in the station. All i can do is stare back at the bloodied figure, in a frozen shock. When i finally muster up the strength to turn around hes gone, out of thin air.

A small explosion rocks the inside of the bathroom, sending me to the wall,

(Y:n) "oh you have got to be kidding me..."

I stumble out of the bath room and back to our dorms where everyone is up looking out the window.

(Qrow) " everyone get you're weapons!"

I look over and give Ven and Noir a nod, they get up and get their weapons and hustle out with me to the service car, while running i see Oscar waiting,

(Oscar) " what is it?"

(Y:n) "oh nothing Ven just farted....what do you think it is!?"

I climb up the hatch and onto the top of the train. Flying above is some spynx and a alpha spynx. All flying around the train shooting small fire balls at it. One takes notice of me and dives twords me like a missile, tapping on my arm display i infuse ice into whirlwind, i draw both swords and dive out of the way, of it slamming onto the train, sprinting back twords it i slide to the floor and right under the beast. Slicing all four legs in a fast fassion leaves them frozen then in a thick sheet of ice. Zooming back through the legs with Rubys sembalance i shoot upwards twords its head and slam Ember Celica into its jaw, with a loud bang it dissolves into nothing.

I turn back to face Ven and Noir

(Y:n) "we gotta lead them to the back!, keep them away from passenger cars!"

Ven pulls out his spear and turns it to his battle rifle mode and starts to run back to the other end of the train  firing burst after burst trying to get the attention on him,

A fire ball slams into the train next to me, looking up I see the Alpha spynx hovering above.

(Y:n) " Noir!"

He gives me a nod and activates his sembalance, dark mist sourounds him before forming a shield in front of him, I start running twords him and jump onto his shield, he launches me up into the air and twords the alpha.

As i pull out both of my swords, the Spynx moves its head making me miss my target, summoning a glyph stops me from over shooting and launches me back at the grimm partially slicing it, I land back onto the train just in time to meet team RWBY and Qrow

At that moment i see one of the so called "huntsman" get smacked off the train down to his demise.

(Blake) "what's the plan Ruby?"

(Ruby) "don't let anyone else die"

With that im off sliceing  Grimm after Grimm, its been a hot minute sice ive killed Grimm so this is is a nice warm up. I notice that one is charging me going for a slash, raising my hand I cast a glyph around its neck, it tries to shake it off like a dog callar, casting another one right next to it like my other hand I pull, tearing its head off, before it could disipate i toss it over the edge,

(Oscar) "TUNNEL!!!!!!"

Activating Rubys sembalance and snatch up ven and Noir and fly back down into the train, i drop Ven and Noir and fall to the floor tuckered out.

(Ven) "why can't we just have a normal train ride....just once"

(Noir) "hey at least we are positive, 2-0 on surviving train rides"

(Y:n) "don't jinx us...we're not in Argus yet."

Making our way to the car that everyone else is in we walk into scuffle.

(Doug) "the turrets are the only thing keeping us alive!"

(Qrow) "they are drawing attention to the passenger cars!"

(Ven) "god those two sound like my parents"

As Ruby calms them down I look out the window making sure they are not tailing us through the tunnel.

(Y:n) " Ruby think of something fast we are running out of tunnel"

(Ruby) " ok ok how about we move all of the passengers to the front of the train you guys make sure they get to argus safe Rem do you think you can use youre sembalance?"

(Ren) " ive never tried with so many people before"

(Ven) "well you've hadn't had a person who can amplify you're aura, hopefully you two won't explode but hey a plan is a plan ain't it?"

(Ozpin) "well there is a slight complication"

(Ven) " wait can they actually explode?"

(Ozpin) "while this relic does hold a magical power its origin is unknown, this  for some reason it attracts Grimm."

(Noir) "oh that would have been nice to know"

(Y:n) " thats what probably led them here in the first place"

A small scuffle breaks out, all words of scaredness and worry, afyer Ruby calms them down she makes a plan of splitting us up Juane Nora and Ren will stay on the train and ho to atlas while tje rest stay behind with the relic and make it back after dealing with the Grimm. Ruby tells me I can do what ever I seem right.

Walking over to Ven and Noir I sence emotions of disbelief, Ozpin keeping secrets got us all on edge.

(Y:n) " i want you two to go to Argus with Juane and his team."

(Noir) "what about you?"

(Y:n) " I'm gonna stay with team RWBY and make sure they get to argus safely.

(Ven) "You just wanna stay with Yang don't you?"

(Noir) "you know me and Weiss are a thing too right?

(Y:n) "well yes and I need you two to make sure there is no one tailing us, they will think we are all together on the train, and make sure there is no White Fang remnants in Argus when we get there"

Ven gives me a nod and heads off to help passengers get to the front cars, Noir walks over to me and puts his hand on my shoulder,

(Noir) " we'll clear the way, just get you're butt to Argus sooner or later."

(Y:n) " will do boss"

With that i ready Ember Celica by slamming a new sleeve of shotgun rounds and pull out Hikari.

(Y:n) "here goes nothing....."
