Although I'm just a figment
There are those who still believe
That I despise their happiness
On every Christmas Eve.
I concentrate my efforts
Then begin to carry out,
My plans to steal Christmas
And the joy the world throughout.
I never can be satisfied
Unless my plans succeed,
I will not rest until I'm done
My heart is filled with greed.
And even though it's not enough
To rob the hearts of those,
Who put their trust in someone
Whom they claim from death She rose.
I guess I'll just keep trying
Since there's no hope left for me,
Unless of course a change of heart
Will some day set me free.
