Viperion

Chat Noir could feel his heart race as the icy eyes of death stared directly into his shattered soul. Vivid images of his defeat gripped his mind like a leech sucking every last ounce of happiness, until nothing but hopelessness remained.

He anxiously waited for a response. He could sense the negativity in the air, and just hoped that this nightmare would disappear for all eternity.

The man dressed in blue from head to toe looked at the cat-like supervillain with hate burning in his eyes.

Chat hugged himself as he continued to watch Viperion's every movement. At any moment, he could strike, and Chat needed to protect himself at all costs.

As the snake began to walk over to Chat, the darkness only seemed to intensity. It felt like he was suffocating and it was becoming increasingly harder to breathe.

"Well hello, Chat Noir," he smirked evilly. "Or should I say, Adrien."

Chat's eyes widened in shock. It was bad enough that one civilian already knew his identity, but this was a total disaster. How did Viperion of all people know who he was? His questions were left unanswered as he continued to stare into oblivion.

"How... How did you-"

"How do I know who you are?" He asked in a mocking tone. "You'll soon figure it out."

"What?"

"Oh, don't look so surprised, Kitten. You should have seen this coming. After everything that happened with Marinette-"

Chat could feel the anger start to rise from deep within. He didn't know what this guy wanted, but he could definitely sense something was off. How did he even know about their relationship?

"What are you talking about? And what about Marinette!?" His fists locked to his sides as his jaw tightened with anger. He wouldn't even hesitate to strike a punch, if Viperion would lift even a finger towards his dear princess.

"I know more than you think."

At that very moment, everything began to make perfect sense. There was only one logical explanation to all of this frustration.

"You're Hawkmoth's wing man aren't you?" His voice burned with anger and frustration.

Viperion took a step forward, and looked straight into Chat's eyes then smirked. "Hmm..."

"I knew it.... And all this time, you didn't once think about what you did, or even cared!?"

"Why would I? Everything was taken away from me on that very unfortunate day. You of all people should know what it's like to loose someone close to you!"

Chat sighed as he thought about the past. He understood, but he just didn't agree with him.

"I know what it's like, okay! I just understand that everything happens for a reason, and you can't change the past.... No matter how much you wish you could!"

Time seemed to no longer exist at that exact moment. A loud noise filled the heavens as Chat just stood there flabbergasted. He gripped his stinging flesh as his lips parted in shock.

The blue haired man grabbed Chat's golden bell and stared directly into his terrified eyes yet again.

"Listen here, you connasse! You know nothing!" He shouted as tears began to form. "Now... To make this easier for both of us, you're going to do something for me..."

Chat moved back slightly, "Wha... What makes you think I'll do anything you tell me?"

Viperion's grip tighted as the anger began to take a hold of him.
