"This is a nice spot," I complimented as I scanned the first floor.

"Thanks! I have another place in South Beach, too," LeBron revealed.

"Okay, baller!" I raised my eyebrows.

"That's right. You know who I am!" LeBron laughed as he started to walk towards his living room while I remained stationary. He turned around and noticed me standing with my purse clutched and legs crossed.

Being in another man's place without Jay feels weird. Even though LeBron and I are closer now, this is still all new to me. I guess I realized I was here —as if I was unconscious up until this point.

"You gonna just stand in the corner, Bey? You can have a seat on the couch. Make yourself comfortable!" LeBron said. He grabbed my shoulder and lightly pushed me forward, walking me to his white sofa. "You want anything to drink?" He offered as I took a seat.

"A glass of champagne would be nice!" I smiled.

"Gotchu!" Lebron replies. He went to the kitchen. A few minutes later, he walked over with two wine glasses and a bottle of Ace of Spades champagne. How ironic. He opened the bottle, poured some into the glasses, and handed me one. I anxiously took a big sip.

"So, what did you tell Jay?" LeBron questioned. He was wondering how I was able to get away...

"I said I was going out with Ashley, my dance captain, for drinks! Something lowkey. He ain't complain! He hasn't been complaining lately," I lied. LeBron doesn't need to know that I snuck out.

"Word? What you been doing to em'?" He asked.

"Not a damn thing..." I chuckled.

"He's still in the dog house?" LeBron continued to probe.

"We've been intimate, but it's gotten to the point where it feels forced, like a chore? This has been going on since I had Blue, though," I shrugged.

"Have you told him this?" He questions.

"Yes, but nothing has changed," I answered.

"You think he's still messing around?" Lebron asked as he leaned back and slumped on the sofa, causing me to turn my body towards him.

"I don't know. He's good at being sneaky!" I slightly chuckled.

"So are you!" He laughed at me.
