you smiled slightly at me
passing cars and bikes,
the park bench was a perfect fit
for our bodies to collide
you pushed me against the back
and i felt your lips on mine
your wings against my cheeks;
hair soft on my neck.i awoke,
and discovered it was a dream.
there was no disappointment,
just disgust
that my mind would
conjure up such a story.
our saliva had mixed
like sea and sand
between my toes.
