That, was the most painful thing you have ever heard, and you still cant get over that. And that, was a year ago

You've cursed Peter so hard that day. He broke up with you with no explaination. He shatterd you into pieces, and left you there, shocked and couldnt move in the bench at the park. You went home not thinking straight, and when you arrived home, in your bedroom, your tears fell down. You cried yourself to sleep that night, and the next day at school, you felt numb, your eyes searched for him, but he wasnt anywhere

And that went on for a year, until you finally gave up. Peter avoided you the whole year, and you gotta say, he's got skills on avoiding people

That leads you to where you are now, you're not fully recovered, but still hanging in there

You were putting stuff back into your locker, and talking to your friend, Luna

"have you finished your French homework? I need help with mine. I suck at French and mr. Hargreeve's gonna kill me if i dont do it properly" you told her as you stuff some binders into your bag

"then why did you get French?" she asked

You closed your locker and leaned on it, "i want to learn the language. And besides, when i go to Paris someday, i'll be able to communicate with them without having to use google translate"

She just shrugged and looked past me with a smirk, "Parker's staring" she said

You raised your eyebrow and looked behind you, he was indeed staring at you but immidietly looked at Ned when you caught him.

He looked tired, and he was indeed skinnier than before. You can also see some light bruises on his jaw. You furrowed your eyebrows

"he looks dead" Luna said and you looked at her, with a -what the actual heck, Luna?- face, "inside" she shrugged and you just sighed

"why would he be staring at me?" you questioned, staring at the floor

"maybe he still has feelings for you?" she asked, with a teasing smirk

You just shook your head and smiled sadly at Luna, "i think it's a little too late for that" you said and the both of you walked away, but before you could turn to a curve, you glanced at Peter, he was looking at you straight in the eyes, you could see the pain in them, but you just shrugged it off and continued with to your room

"dude, until when are you gonna do this?"

When you turned to a curve, Ned couldnt help but ask his bestfriend. Peter's been dreadful since the break up. Not focusing on studies and even on Patrol, he's mind is foggy.

"what?" Peter asked Ned tiredly

"look at yourself. Dude you need (a/n: some milk) to do something about it. It's either you talk to her and fix things, or move on, like she did"
