The door to the ship closed Steven boarded. He walked up to the captain's chair, and sat down. The others looked at him, and knew something was wrong.

"Are you ok Steven," Pearl asked.

"Yeah, we heard someone shouting outside earlier," Amethyst added.

Steven looked up, a face of distraught present. The others gasped, and ran to his side. Pearl blabbered on as to if he was ok. It wasn't him he was worried about though, it was Spinel. Would she still like him after this. He left her in the garden... but for a good reason... but is any reason good enough for leaving someone alone?

"I... I left Spinel in the garden," Steven said through sobs.

The others were shocked, except for Garnet. She knew what was coming, she had already prepared for it.

"It's ok Steven... you did it with good intentions... in the end," Garnet started. "But, now you need to promise me that you won't forget her."

"I," Steven sniffled, wiping away his tears. "I promise!"

"Good. She won't be happy with you, that'll be up to you to fix."

Steven nodded.

"Alright gems, no time to be upset, we have some Diamonds to take down!"

Everyone rushed to their places, awaiting Steven's instructions. They were ready to confront the Diamonds... no matter what!

"Ok, thanks to Pink Pearl, we know their last known location. Sector-7J, it only has three planets, we just have to find which one their hiding in."

"Alright, I'll start up the ship," Pearl said.

She placed her arms in the control panel, and her eyes lit up, showing she was now in control. She started up the jets, and the ship hovered in the air.

"Alright guys, this is it, let's go save the universe!"

With that, Pearl thrusted the ship into hyperdrive, soaring through space. They waited patiently as they grew closer and closer to their last confrontation.
Their last battle for peace.

The ship jerked to a stop as they entered Sector-7J. They looked around, trying to spot any sign of the Diamonds. Their were three planets, Pink Pearl was right. Or... at least their used to be. One planet was completely destroyed, leftovers hovered through space. That only left two planets.

"Aw geez, what happened to that planet," Amethyst sighed.

"That's not new," Pearl said. "That planet was destroyed long ago in Era 1. Luckily, for us at least, there's now only two options... it's just-Uh... which do we go to first-"

"That one," Garnet said, pointing to a dark purple tinted planet. "My future vision says that there's an 80% chance their on that planet."

"Great! Let's go then," Steven cheered.

Pearl steered the ship, bringing them closer to the planet. As they approached, and entered the planet's atmosphere, they saw something sparkle in the distance.

"Wait P, what was that," Amethyst asked.

"It's the Diamonds' ships," she answered.

She was right, as they got closer they saw a blue and yellow robot arm, and a white robot torso with a head. They were all connected.

As their ship landed, they spotted a big cave in the distance. They got out the ship, and walked toward the Diamonds' ships first.

"Uh... hello," Steven yelled.

There was no answer, only the cold wind filled the air. They turned to the cave, and Steven looked at Garnet. She nodded, as did he, and they walked towards it. The cave was a good distance away, so as the got closer Steven looked around. The sky was foggy, and the breeze was chilly. Their were things that resembled dead trees scattered throughout the land. Their were hills in the distance, and no grass around their feet. The planet was a dark purple, with a blackish tint. There were small crest scampering around. It felt eerie, and the dark natural lighting of the planet didn't help.

"What is this place Pearl," Steven asked.

"I don't know," she said worriedly.

Finally, they reached the entrance of the cave. They stopped for a brief moment, looking at each other for a moment of love. They didn't know how long this could take, so they wanted to cherish their moments.

After a group hug, they walked inside, Steven leading the group of gems. It was darker in the cave, but luckily, Pearl stepped up and shed some light from her gem. The atmosphere was... damp, and moist. Their were scattered metal pieces that glistened in Pearl's light as they walked by. There were carvings on the wall that depicted some sort of worshipping. There was, what looked like, an alien race worshipping a wall. They didn't see anything that would suggest a Diamond were here, but where else would they be?

As they continued, they saw another carving. In this one, the aliens were building a contraption. Then there was another, and another.

"Pearl," Steven said, causing Pearl to jump. "Sorry, but look at these carvings, do you know what they are saying?"

"Carvings," Pearl asked.

"Yeah, I keep seeing them out of the corner of my eye as we walk by them. Your light keeps shining on them."

"Sure, I'll look at them."

Pearl walked closer to the carvings, and inspected them closely. She mumbled to herself as the others watched. It was so quiet as Pearl read the carvings, loud echoes of dropping water could be heard. Pearl finished reading a carving that depicted an alien, putting a machine in a stone wall. Pearl made her way to another drawing, and read it closely. When she got midway, she gasped, and almost fell backwards.

"Pearl, what is it?! Are you ok," Steven asked.

Pearl ran back up to the carving, and looked at it again. She read over and over, making sure what she saw was true.
And it was!

"Look at this," she told them, waving them to her.

The others gathered by her side as she illuminated the wall. The carving could easily be seen, and the others looked it over. It showed one of the machines they built, it was spurting something into the wall. Then they gasped. They could tell entirely what made Pearl frightened. It was so obvious... so clear. In the next drawing was an alien, down on their knees, worshipping what their machine created.
A Diamond... White Diamond!

Steven backed up, and trembled slightly. What did it mean?! It was obvious it was White Diamond... but what does it mean?!

"Pearl," Steven said with a shaky voice. "What is that?! What does it mean?!"

"I can't believe it," she mumbled. "There were always stories about this place, but I thought they were just legends!"

"Oh no, they were very real," an ominous voice echoed as the cave lit up a bright white flash.

"Hello Starlight, welcome to the Diamond Kindergarden."
