The gems (Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Spinel) warped to Homeworld. They stepped off cautiously, making sure no gems or Diamonds were around. They breathed a sigh of relief, quickly turning back to their objective.

Spinel didn't really want to tag along, but Garnet insisted. She was a friend, she said. You know where it is, she said.

"Spinel," Garnet said, pulling Spinel out of her thoughts. "It's not on White's chair!"

Spinel held a shocked expression, she sprung up there, literally, and looked all around. Garnet was right. "What," Spinel breathed heavily. "B-But it was here! It's always here!" Spinel looked more intently, but still had no luck.

She jumped down and wiped some tears forming in her eyes. Why was she sad, she didn't like Steven at the moment.

Pearl covered her mouth and looked at Garnet. "What do we do now Garnet," she asked frightened at the possible outcomes.

Garnet started to feel the pressure, she struggled to stay together. "I-It's ok... I think. I still see the possibility of us finding it."

Amethyst looked up at her with a frown. "Where?!"

Garnet hugged herself, keeping her together. "I-I don't know! I just know we have a chance. Sapphire-I haven't used my future vision in awhile."

They kept chatting, trying to figure out something. Spinel grew tense, staying away from the conversation. She crossed her arms and looked at them. She started to lose hope. "What do we do," she whispered.

They turned to her, all going quiet. What were they going to do? Steven made the toughest decisions! Sure Garnet was like the leader, but she can only do so much.

"We need to split up..." Garnet looked around, and nodded. "Teams of two. Pearl, you're with me! Amethyst, Spinel, you two go look 👀 n the left wing! We'll take the right."

They all nodded hesitantly, but got a determined face. They buddied up and set out the door, each turning a different direction.

"Good luck," Garnet said. "And remember, this is for Steven! And be careful."

Amethyst & Spinel:

The two walked down the left wing, looking around. They saw many doors, most closed luckily.

"Should we check one," Amethyst asked.

"No, those are gem's dorms. If we go in there, we could be caught," Spinel explained.

They continued in silence. Looking for a bottle every now and then. They turned another corner, and Amethyst quickly pulled them back.

"What is it-"

"Shh," Amethyst scolded. She peeked her head around to see Volleyball! Unfortunately, she was still under White's control.

"Shit," Amethyst muttered.

"What is it," Spinel whispered again.

Amethyst didn't want to hurt Spinel more, so she couldn't say that Volleyball was there!

"Someone's guarding the door to that room!"
Amethyst turned her head back to Spinel and brought them to the floor. She sat against the wall and looked around the corner again.

"What should we do?! That door must be important!" Spinel tried to look around the corner, but was stopped again. "Amethyst, let me see!"

"Shh, man! We can't!"

"You've been looking!"

"Just don't Spinel!"

"Just let me... do it..."
Spinel managed to stretch her head around the corner. Her eyes widened in shock and quickly retracted. She sat there with wide eyes. She stared at the floor, lost in thought a moment. Amethyst quickly shook her out of it, and smiled slightly.

"It's ok, after Steven, we'll help her too."

Spinel nodded, and looked again, which was hard with her cracked eye. She had to peek her head out further. "Should we try to go in?"

"How would we do that," Amethyst asked.

"I don't know?! I'm still kinda knew to this Crystal Gem thing!"

They looked at Volleyball nervously for awhile, til Amethyst had an idea. "Disguise yourself!"
Amethyst shapeshifted into a taller, bulkier, and well looking Amethyst.

Spinel just elongated herself a little, thinking that's what Amethyst wanted.

"What is that dude?!"

"What do you mean, you just got taller too!"

Amethyst groaned and sat Spinel down. Amethyst took in a deep breath and turned the corner. She walked up to the door where Volleyball stood. She said nothing, but held her arms up with a monotone expression.

Amethyst waited for something, sweating intensely. Spinel watched, dogging her... nails(?) into the wall. Volleyball stood there saying and doing nothing.

Amethyst raised a brow and cleared her throat... nothing happened. Amethyst looked back at Spinel, who shrugged with a frown. Amethyst turned back and waved in her face. Amethyst smiled slightly and returned to normal. "I think she's, like, frozen?! Maybe because White Diamond got... pinkified!"

Spinel walked over quietly... well attempted too. Her shoes squeaked as she tip toed over, the echo causing them to be louder! "What?!" Spinel waved her arm in front of her, and she did nothing. Spinel sighed and walked passed her. The door was cracked opened, and chattering was heard.

Spinel turned around with a worried expression. "There are gems in there," she yelled in a whisper. She tapped her fingers nervously and turned to look at the door way.
Then, footsteps could be heard.

"Hide," Amethyst yelled.

Spinel sprung to the ceiling, and flattened herself out. Amethyst scattered about, til hiding right behind the cracked door.

The door was swung open as a gem walked out. Amethyst was hit, and rubbed her nose. The two watched as gems piled out, eventually turning the corner.

"Good... I think that's all of them," Amethyst sighed.

Spinel sprung back down and nodded. They walked into the room cautiously and looked around. It was empty with a big table in the middle. It was round and had several chairs around it. It was a conference room!

"Huh, a conference room," Spinel muttered.

They looked around, not finding anything. Eventually, they sighed in disappointment.

"Where could it be," Amethyst cried.

Spinel rubbed her arm nervously and looked around one last time. She smiled slightly and giggled. "I use to come here when the Diamonds talked with other planets! I made sure everyone was happy!"

Amethyst turned to her with a raised brow. She listened, still looking around.

"I remember this one time," she giggled. "There was a gem who came in, because she cracked her gem from tripping on a bug! A bug!" She laughed slightly, and smiled. "We had to use the bottle for that one."

Amethyst froze and cocked her head to Spinel. She ran over and shook her lightly. "WAIT WHAT?!"

Spinel's eyes grew wide and she smiled brightly. "I KNOW WHERE IT IS!" She quickly frowned and released Amethyst off of her. She gave her a scared expression, as she gulped slightly. "It's in White's head..." (the ship to be clear)
