I'm tired
Worn
Like an old shirt too far gone
And too quickly scoped
Out at the garage sale
Advocated by menial tasks
Signaled by a real harpoon
Reel me in
Hold me tight
Please ensure me
That I'll be just fine
Because I'm loose and primitive
Ape in comparison
To such a smile as yours.
You must have the answers
There's no way you couldn't
You simple and perfect
And I love you so
Even though I shouldn't.
Hold me back
My claws are out.
I will rip you apart
For this treachery.
Tell me why you've done this
Explain it to me slowly
So I can go home tonightAnd sleep like a baby.
