CHAPTER 9

Error's pov

"I WĮŁL FRĪĆKĮŃG KĪŁŁ ÌŃK ÄŃD THË ØTHÊRŠ Į ŠWËÄR!¡" The static fills my brain and it hurts. I scratch at my soul in desperation to MAKE IT STOP. JUST GO AWAY! I feel a presence enter the bubble that contains me. The hands stop me from clawing at my skull. "ŃØ DØŃ'T HÚRT MË PŁËÊÊ!" The glowing person pulls me into a hug... I think...? Wow... this is the first time I have been touched without pain following afterwards. It's... great...
"My child... please do not harm yourself... Everything will get better from here-on-out. I will never let you get hurt again. I won't let Fate hurt you anymore. Oh- I never told you my name did I...? No I didn't. Well, my name's Destiny. And that's literally what I am. Destiny. I'm Fate's younger sister."
I forced my eyes open as they had been closed this entire time, like an eternal sleep. Her long hair flowed, she glowed and she looked like something completely pure. She was so large my entire body fit into one of her hands. She stopped hugging me and smiled at me. I forgot how to smile properly. I looked up at her. Then, a question I have wanted to know for SO long popped into my mind.
"dEsTinY... wHaT aU dID I cOmE fRom...?"
She looked a little surprised then said:
"You came from an AU called Heaventale. It was a beautiful AU. You were so happy, but then Fate ruined it all."
"sO... I hAd a bRoThEr tOo...?"
"Yes."
I want my AU back. I want to be happy again. But Fate took everything away from me. I wish I could remember. Maybe Destiny can help me?
"dEsTiNy... cAn yOu hElp mE rEmEmbEr mY aU...? PlEaSe...?"
She paused. She looked as though she were thinking through the hardest question in eternity. I waited.
"Sorry child... but I cannot restore memories; as those will come over time. No memory can ever truly be lost, even if Fate took them. But, I can speed up your memorization process, and you should receive them back in little snippets." Well... that's okay I guess. I hummed in response. I'm bored now.
"hEy dEStIny, cAn yOu tElL mE abOuT yOuRsElf?"
"Sure. Uhhh... where to start... oh! Well, my favourite colour is light pink, I like flowers, and helping others with their Destiny. I dislike my sister Fate, because she is an absolute jerk. She is rubbish. I hope she cannot hear me or else we are dead." My eye-sockets widen. FATE CAN HEAR US?! WE CAN DIE?!
"Pfft- hahahahahah! Your face! Oh gosh that is too funny! I was just kidding Error! You are too cute!" Oh. This is fun. Hearing laughter that actually involves me is nice. BUT WHO JOKES ABOUT DEATH?!
