Soon, Ink fell asleep hugging Error. The other Sanses were mentally fanboying over how cute it looked. But they didn't exactly ship it. Not yet. They all leaned against the wall, and fell asleep leaning on eachother. They surprisingly did it in sync. Meanwhile, Medic Toriel walked into the room to see how everyone was doing, and smiled when she saw everyone was sleeping. It was adorable. She looked at the Destroyer, and sighed. She felt pretty bad for being so wrong about him and making assumptions. But, she decided that she would also help Error. It was the right thing to do. She grabbed two blankets. She put one over the six sleeping Sanses, then draped the other over Ink and Error. She noticed that the position Error was in would strain his bones, so he put Error on Ink's lap. It was too cute for her to handle, so she fixed the way the blanket sat over them and left the room.

The next morning, Error started to wake up. He noticed that he was clinging to someone. But it wasn't Destiny. He started to panic. Ink woke up from the vibrating he felt on his chest. He opened his eyes and saw that Error was terrified. Ink started to pet Error.

"Shhshh hey Error it's okay... you're safe..."

However, Error was too scared. He jumped out of Ink's arms and fell onto the ground with a sickening crack. He whimpered and tried to get up but failed. Ink got out of the bed and tried to help Error up, but Error scooted away from Ink and backed up into the wall, breathing heavily and shaking.

"ś-śtÂÿ bÄćK..."

"Error, I'm not gonna hurt you anymore! I promise!"

Ink slowly came closer, then sat in front of Error. Error was still very scared, but had no clue what Ink was doing. They both didn't notice the other Sanses waking up.

'wHatEvEr hE dOeS, iT's gOnNa hUrt... wHy cAn'T aLl mY pAIn aNd sUfFeRinG jUsT eNd aLrEaDy?'

Error thought to himself. Ink reached out his hand. Error flinched, and Error signs clouded his vision. He started to violently glitch again. Ink rested his hand on top of Error's skull and lightly rubbed his skull. Error was so confused, but it felt nice to him. The glitching got a bit better, but he was still scared. Then Ink pulled Error onto his lap and hugged him. Error froze. Why was Ink being nice...? It... made no sense...

"It's okay Error... nobody's gonna hurt you anymore..."

Error's eyes began to water. Did Ink really mean it...? Was all of his suffering finally over...? NO. INK NEEDED TO PAY. Error was beyond broken because of him, and now he thinks he can just expect me to forgive him?

"whY... wHy ArE yOu bEinG sO nIcE tO mE... I dOn'T nEeD iT... I dOn'T dEsErvE iT! sO jUsT sToP! jUsT leAvE mE aLone...!"

Tears fell down Error's cheekbones and he sobbed. Ink pulled Error closer and let the small skeleton soak his shoulder in tears. Ink rubbed Errors's back.

"ÿØù'rË j-jÚšT tRÿÍńG tŌ tRĪčK mË, ã-ãrËń'T ÿØù...?!"

This made Ink incredibly sad.

"No Error... I read your suicide note... and we all felt so horrible for what we did to you. It all made sense. So we came and got you out of the void because we realized you were still alive, and we decided that we wanted to make this better and make it up to you. You've suffered so much because of me... I want to help you Error..."

Error didn't know what to do. Ink wasn't going to hurt him anymore...? That seemed really weird to Error.

"Oh yeah. I forgot to tell you that... I will stop creating. No more creation. The balance will never tip again."

Errors' eyes filled with tears again. He was still so confused. What if Ink betrays him in the end? He still didn't trust Ink. But... Error was tired. Too tired to care about the ex-creator holding him close. Soon, Error fell asleep in Ink's arms.
