Olivia's POV
We have exams today everyone's on edge today me included I exit my dorm door to see Syrus run out but he left their door open so I open it to see an asleep Jaden and Chumley whose ready to leave. I then point to Jaden "need a hand getting him up?"
Chumley nods but then leaves the room
"ok?"
I then begin to shake Jaden
"Come on Jaden we have our duelling test today"
he slowly opens his eyes
"-yawn- Morning Liv what are you doing here"
I laugh
"Helping you get up Syrus and Chumley already failed and we have our exams today so come on get up get dressed I'll wait outside. We're gonna have to run for it if we wanna make it to the exam on time"
He nods and yawns again before getting out of bed.
After Jaden's ready and we've eaten we begin running towards the main building but we see a lady struggling to push a van up the hill so we stop and turn to each other
"Shall we help her?"
Jaden then looks to me
"If we do we're gonna be late"
I then laugh
"Ha good job your never on time then huh?" He laughs and we make our way to the woman and help her push this van up the hill she then turns to us
"Thank you, you must be from the auto club" Jaden smiles
"Don't let the red jackets fool you were just helping a woman in trouble"
she then let's go of the van
"We'll isn't that nice"
I then catch the van slowing it down as the other two grab back onto it again so I say "What would be nice is if we pushed"
she then smiles and turns to us
"I'll remember this"

We finally make it to the exam and I go up to Banners desk whilst Jaden goes up to Syrus but I hear Chazz from the top rows
"You two wanna keep it down some of us plan to pass this test!"
Jaden then laughs
"I always plan to pass it just doesn't work out that way"
I giggle from in front of the teachers desk as banner calls up to them
"Oh Jaden why don't you come down here and get your test"
I then turn to the professor
"it's fine I'll take it to him"
I take two tests from the pile and make my way up to the empty seat between Jaden and Syrus. But shortly after we sit down syrus falls asleep and Jaden is nodding off as well but Jaden's head falls to my shoulder but luckily for me I'm right handed and Jaden's asleep on my left shoulder so I'm able to do my test.
*43 Minutes Later*
I'm writing my answer to the last question as Professor banner calls out
"2 Minutes left students"
'I've timed this perfectly'
I then finish my answer to the last question as banner says
"Alright class the written exam is now over please walk, do not run to get in line for the rare cards"
but no one listens and near enough the whole class goes sprinting out to the rare cards. Bastion then comes over and wakes Syrus up and points to Jaden who is still asleep on my shoulder
"Need a hand with him"
I smile to bastion
"I think I can manage but thanks for the offer" I then gently shake Jaden
"Wake up Jaden that should be enough sleep for today"
he slowly opens his eyes to see an empty classroom as Syrus asks
"Hey where did everyone go?"
Bastion then looks to the three of us
"That's what I was trying to tell you, the new rare cards arrived today so everyone's at the card shop"
Syrus then freaks out
"New cards! Hey why did no one tell us !"
I then answer
"Because they want all the best cards for themselves Sy"
Syrus then questions bastion
"Then why aren't you getting any?"
Said Ra then sighs
"Please one erred card and it would ruin the balance of my deck"
Syrus then turns to me and Jaden
"Mine wouldn't!"
Jaden then announces
"Well then let's go there's nothing like the smell of new cards in the morning"
we then begin running towards the card shop but when we get there the shop is empty and we all turn to each other
"Don't tell me they've run out of cards already!"
We then make our way to the counter to see a very annoyed employee as Jaden asks
"You still have some cards left right?"
She smiles
"Of course we have some left just regular packs though"
she then hands us one as the boys cry out in unison
"We said some not one!"
Syrus then turns to us
"I'm done for I slept through my written test now I'm gonna fail my field test because I can't upgrade my deck"
I then turn to Syrus
"Then take the pack Sy"
Jaden nods with a forced smile but Syrus doesn't notice as he says
"Wow you'd give me the last pack they have" we both nod and he takes the pack. But we then see the woman from before as she greets us
"Oh hey auto club!"
We greet her back as Jaden asks
"Hey so do you work here too?"
She then shakes her head
"Oh no I don't work here I'm the owner of this place"
both mine and Jaden's jaws drop as she says "Oh I have something for you"
she then gives us a pack of cards saying
"Just call it a thank you for helping me"
we thank her then make our way back to the boys dorm room. When we're their we open the pack that the owner gave us to see 5 new rare cards but one of them is what I've been looking for recently as I gasp
"Jaden can I take that one"
he nods and asks
"Ok which others do you want?"
I look over them and decide on one
"you can have the other three. That ok?"
He nods but looks towards me
"Sure I mean are you sure your giving me three rare cards here"
I nod and smile
"I'm all set and I think I've already got a plan!" So we start making our way to the duelling arena for our field test.
