Percy had to admit. She didn't expect to be cuddled with MJ on the couch at three in the morning, talking about body piercings.
"I mean according to my brother a tongue piercing does wonders for both men and women." MJ explained, drawing patterns in Percy's ribs.
"Are you trying to convince me to get piercings?"
"Is it working?"
"Maybe."
It was a few days later when the conversation was brought back up. Percy and MJ has decided to walk to the tower instead of taking the bus. Hands swinging in between the couple as they laughed and dipped in their coffee. "So I was thinking," Percy began as they stopped in front of a tattoo parlor. "I could get some piercings. All hidden so my fathers don't find out, and if I like them convince my dad and pops to let me have visible ones."
"Really?" MJ smiled, dragging her into the store.
"May I help you?" A guy with tats and piercings walked up, his black hair swept in his face.
"Hi I was thinking about getting a tongue piercing." Percy said and the guy nodded.
"Gold or silver?"
"Silver." He led her to a chair and held out a tray of piercings, a vast arrangement of sized and details. "That one." She pointed to a small stud that was plain.
"Alright grab onto your friend, it may hurt." The guy grabbed the gun after putting on some gloves and cleaned it before placing the piercing in it. "Tongue out." Percy obliged and closed her eyes, grabbing onto MJ's hand. "All done."
"That wasn't to bad." Percy said with a smile.
"Bellybutton now?" MJ asks and she nods, picking it out. The guy repeats the process and leads her to a mirror.
"Wow. I should've done this sooner." She hands the guy a hundred dollar bill. "Keep the change."
They walk out, hand in hand once again. "It looks really good." MJ said. "How does it feel?"
