Ryn POV

Opening  my eyes I took notice the sun was going down, turning to my side I was met with Beta next to keeping me warm, he notice I was up and barked to get the others attention which made me let out a chuckle as I petted his snout.

" You're alright," Anita said, letting out a whimper of joy.

I nodded and then tried to shift but a piercing pain made me hiss. I slowly looked down my chest to see the wound was slowly healing, which made me worried.

" I wouldn't try shifting for a while," Alpha said, as he walked over to me and I looked into his yellow eyes, "We normally would wait for you to heal but we have to keep moving there is something very wrong, I will tell you all when we leave,"  I nodded and sat up trying to ignore the pain in my chest,

" What happened out there," Beta asked, as he came closer to my side for warmth ,

" I went to the farmer's pumpkin patch and notice that the bottom of the tree's were rotting, that when that human man came he started talking to me like if he knew me and I just snapped at him," I said, " That's when one of his men came and misunderstood the situation and shot me."

" Was it because of the human child," he said, " I thought you were over her seeing as she to hurt you,"

I looked to the side avoiding his gaze, was I really ready to let her go, it's been some months since Hopper took her. But she is my sister, who suffered the same way I did.

" I was over her but that man said things about how El was sorry for what she did and part of me wanted to believe him but she chose him," I said, he seemed to understand and was about to say something else when Kenai came holding something in his mouth.

" Oh your wake, here it took me all day to catch it, " Kenai said, as he dropped it by my legs.

" Thanks, Kenai, but I'm not that hungry," I said, as I picked it up and threw it at him and he caught it.

" But you need to eat something to keep your strength up," Anita  said, I smiled

" Don't worry about me," I said. Kenai nodded and shared the rabbit with Anita.

I soon felt tired and laid back down on the cold floor, thought about El made me want to forgive her after all she seemed to know who he was, soon the others began to lay down around keeping my warm all except Alpha who was keeping a lookout.

Night soon came and Alpha woke us up, " We have to move," he said. I nodded and stood up with the help of Beta.

As we walked, I kept on falling behind and I could feel Anita worrying about me.

"We have to take it easy, Ryn isn't fully healed yet," She protested,

"I'll be fine, you guys run ahead I'll catch up," I said. Alpha looked back at me also worried but I gave him a nod so they ran while I took my time. As they ran I saw them cross a road and I did so but then stopped when a bright light made me squint my eyes.

I was driving back home after the party and the fight I had with Nancy. As I drove I came to a small part of the road that most of the wildlife crossed so I made sure to look out for deer. Soon a romantic song came from the radio, the song had the worse timing so I went to change it, when I looked back to the road a pack of dogs ran across the road to the other side, I came to a stop just as a girl stood by the road

She looked at me with her piercing blue eyes, I noticed her shirt was covered in blood and also saw she wore no pants. Stepping out of the car I walked toward her,

"Hey, you okay," I asked. She seemed scared and tried to run into the woods but I kept following her,

"Do you need help?"

She seemed to be limping as she walked away. That's when she fell to the ground. I walked up to her and saw she was indeed bleeding, I took off my jacket and wrapped her in it. I picked her up a carried her into the car

" Please don't be dead," I muttered,

All the way home I looked at her to make sure she was alright. She was breathing so that was a good sign but her breathing was unsteady. Once I made it to my house I took her inside and set her down. I tried looking for some of mom's clothing and found her running clothing. I was about to change her when I stopped

" Shit what am I doing," I said,

I looked over to her as she lay on the couch, she was pretty a bit pale due to the blood that I'm guessing is hers.

" I'm sorry about this," I took off her oversized shirt and began to clean her wound which wasn't that bad, bandaging it and then putting on one of my mom's shirts and pants. Satisfied, I took a step back and placed a hand over my neck. I decided to make some coffee so I wouldn't be looking at her all the time and hoping to see her blue eyes once more.

As I came out of the kitchen, I set her cup on the table and that's when I noticed her eyes fluttering open, she began to look around confused as to where she was and what she was wearing.

" I'm sorry that's the only thing I could find," I said, she looked at me and then at the cup, she reached over to it and picked it up, she began to sniff it and I chuckled

"That's coffee, I can guarantee I make the best cup of joe," I said, she took a sip of it and jumped back in pain

" Careful it's hot," I said, " Blow in it to cool it down,"

She listened and began to blow into the cup, once satisfied she took another sip and seemed to enjoy it, we sat there without any of us saying anything, so I took charge.

" So are you going to say something, " I asked, she looked up at me " I could help you, take you to where ever you need to go or we can go to the station to see if someone is looking for you,"  she just looked at me without saying a word

" Or you don't have to talk,"

Once I said that there was a howl in the distance and she looked out the back door.

" They're here," she muttered, I glanced over to the door which lead to the pool, I made my way over and looked out into the dark woods,

" Holy Shit"
