"M'lord, Lady Athena has requested your presence," A servant stated.
"Escort her to the conference room. I shall be there in a moments notice," Poseidon replied.
"As you wish your highness," the servant bowed.
"Why would Athena visit me right now?" Poseidon wondered.
"Poseidon," Athena acknowledged.
"Athena," I greeted.
"I have come here to propose a truce. Do you accept?" Athena asked.
"What kind of truce? Why now? We've been fighting for quite a few decades now," Poseidon replied.
"You know why," Athena replied. Poseidon sighed.
"So it's true. He's really fading isn't he?" Poseidon whispered. Athena nodded.
"I shouldn't have blamed you so long ago..." Poseidon trailed. The room went silent. The incident has been kept quiet for years. Neither could speak about it for the pain was unbearable.
"I accept your proposal. I-I should go, my people need me," Poseidon said. Poseidon turned around and took a step forward.
"Wait!" Athena exclaimed. Poseidon turned to face her. Athena's head was down.
"Don't go," she muttered. Poseidon held her hands.
"Never," He vowed.

Don't worry guys. This is an Athenares story. I just needed a plot twist. Until then my fellow readers.
