Questioned by a prompt book #1- Ray

Recently I went to Barnes and Noble and I saw one of those "(insert large number) writing prompts" books. Normally I wouldn't care much for those, but since I have a Wattpad profile and I'm always looking for my next big inspiration for my next hilarious skit, I figured "why not" and bought a small book with 200 writing prompts. And as hoped, it gave me an interesting idea.

I have the multiple different characters give their responses to a majority of these writing prompts. And to start this sort of series, let's hear the Vermillion Destroyer's responses to these prompts! 😊 Enjoy!

First the prompt will be listed, then the character will give their response. Some prompts will be serious or philosophical, while others just fun or curious. Now keep in mind, this questionnaire of sorts takes place after the events my upcoming Under Our Wings crossover series, so potential spoilers may be ahead! References to the original source of the character may be mentioned as well, so if you don't know of their franchise you may be left in the dark.  This was made as a way to understand the characters better and as a way to express their ideas. These prompts are directly from the book itself, so don't be surprised to see the the word "write" a bit. Ready? Go!

What is the best excuse for being late that you have ever heard or used?

Ray: "So sorry! I had to feed my invisible cat and he just REFUSES to eat regular cat food!" (Laughs loudly) That crazy badger is too much sometimes. 😂

How do you act when you are afraid?

Ray: Hmm... How do I act when I'm afraid? Kinda depends on the context I suppose. If it was something that hurt my self-esteem or pride, I'm programmed to be upset and angry. If it's something that genuinely terrifies me, I... I don't know. I honestly don't know how I act, or at least how to describe it in words. I... I kinda act like it's the end of everything, I guess. I don't know.

What do you love doing that you wish you could get paid for?

Ray: Messing with Rae all the time! She just gets so pissed off so easily! I should definitely get paid for being able to get under her skin while dealing with her attitude! 😆

What is the best thing about being single or partnered (whichever you are right now)?

Ray: I do have a partner, and yes robots can have partners! For me, having some one like Brand as the closest person to you to fall back on in times of need is the best thing. And some one to train with whenever you're bored out of your mind helps your social life too!

You have two hours to do something relaxing and a budget of $100. What will you do?

Ray: Hmm... What is "relaxing" for me? Hmm... Buy as many tunes I can on any and all music platforms that I like, lock myself in my room, and listen to all those songs on interval for hours. I can never get tired of listening to P!nk and Taylor Swift and maybe some Madonna mixed in.

Are there any lines that you simply will not cross?

Ray: Going back to robot cannibalism. No matter what the circumstances, I will not eat another robot again for as long as I am functional. I will also not forget a single person I meet. I have a memory bank sure, but I will never delete anyone from my memory without a good enough reason, one of which I can't fathom for the life of me. So don't bother asking if I would erase a memory, because no matter the contents, my memories are what make me me. They are something for me to base my life on, and for me it makes all the difference.
