Chapter VIII: Frog Hops

Brian stepped into the pizzeria with a box in his hands, he had been finding out a whole lot recently, things he sometimes wished he didn't know but that shouldn't affect him. This time it seemed that Helpy wasn't at the front desk. He walked over to the curtains opening them slowly being careful not to drop the box he was holding. Springtrap was on stage trying to fix baby with whatever materials he could find, it seemed that Lefty was on today because he was at one of the party tables with Helpy. Brian smilled at the sight of the pizzeria, he walked over to Springtrap "You're doing a great job, I'm sure she'll look great. " The bunny flinched, seemingly not having noticed him walk in, he looked up at Brian and smilled before mumbling a small "Thanks" The human nodded and stepped down from the stage, he walked over to the two bots at the table, placing the box down on said object and as soon as Lefty noticed him, he rushed over to give him a (quite litteraly) bear hug, holding him up with no effort making Brian wheeze out a "Can't breath." The one-eyed bot let go and checked him over to make sure he wasn't hurt. When he noticed no physical damage he stepped away and gave Brian a smile as a way to apologize. Helpy walked over to them on the table" Here's your money Brian" she handed him the coins then turned and pointed at the mysterious box while asking "What's that?" The brunette opened the box for them to see a small metal box, he walked behind Lefty and turned the bot off, he walked back in front of him before looking around the fur, finding a button he pressed it and the bear's chest opened to a bunch of wires and emptiness where a voice box should be. He walked to where Springtrap was sitting and grabbed a wrench "I'm borrowing this." Walking away before he got an answer. He started moving some of the wires cautiously to see the empty space more clearly, with the wrench he connected the wire used to speak to the metal box and clipped it into it's sockets, he clicked the button again and the fur closed, he turned the bot on again who stared at Brian in confusion, Springtrap had also looked over at them in confusion. Brian spoke with a smile "Try to talk buddy." Lefty tilted his head "I don't- Oh my god" He interrupted his own sentence hearing an actual voice come from him and hugged Brian again, Helpy was now laughing because of how happy she was "It fits him so well!" The brunette chuckled as Lefty let go of the hug "Thought you'd like it!" Springtrap walked over and stared at Lefty with shock "That's... the exact same voice box I- he had before." Brian nodded "I can tell you that it wasn't cheap to get it exactly the same but I managed, do you like it?" The black bear looked more exited then ever "Do I like it? I LOVE IT!" He screamed out making to human cover his ears "Okay well try not to scream to much, it's pretty old and it could damage it" The bot nodded before glaring at Springtrap with his only eye. The bunny robot ignored him and looked at Brian "Do you think we could get some parts for her" He looked over at Baby with a sad look "I already bought some things like her voice box and her eyes but she needs some suit parts..." The boy just handed Springtrap his phone "Just order whatever you need. " Springtrap thanked him and touched the screen a few times before handing the small device back, he grabbed the wrench and walked back over to the other scrap animatronic. "Yeesh, what's his deal?" He heard Lefty ask and thankfully he didn't need to answer because Helpy did "That girl means a lot to him.. for personal reasons." Brian nodded silently staring at Springtrap with a distant look in his eyes before looking back at the two bear animatronics "Well i was thinking I could buy a new animatronic, since I think I have the money...?" The two bots nodded almost in sync making the human smile. The three made their way to the front doors, Brian grabbed a hold of the red curtains screaming out "Springtrap we're going to the store" The only response he got was a silent grunt, he sighed and closed the cloth

Brian stepped inside the colourful building where they had bought Lefty and looked around, he noticed nothing new so of course, nothing brought his interest, he walked over to the at the counter and asked the southern man in his polite professional tone "Hello, are there any new animatronics?" The man looked up from whatever he was doing on his phone and responded "We jus' got four new ones, they're still in the back but we got the info books." The blue shirted man handed him four books and the customer read them all

As he finished reading, he noticed that Lefty had been reading over his shoulder "I think we should get happy frog!" Brian giggled knowing that the comedian mostly wanted the frog animatronic because she could tell jokes, he looked over at Helpy who was nodding along to the other bear's statement, the man sighed and handed the shop guy the books back "I'll buy Happy frog then" The man nodded "I'll make guessing it's the same address?" To which Brian just responded with a nod "I'll have 'er delivered there then, g'bye!" The freckled adult child responded with his own goodbye and walked out, the other two following him.

The metals door of the pizzeria opened and they made their way onside, they stepped into the main room where Springtrap was still on stage although get was reading a book, probably having run out of parts. He looked up when he heard the 'swish' of the curtains opening and got up to walk over to the business owner "So what did you buy?" The man looked at Springtrap unimpressed "You seriously didn't notice the new animatronic?" The scrap bunny looked over at the stage and jumped a bit when he noticed the new green animatronic "I did not notice that no." Brian chuckled "Must have been a pretty interesting book then! Where'd you even get it?" He asked with a genuinely curious smile "Just in your office up in the vents." The rotten springlock suit answered, looking back at the green and yellow frog on stage "I never saw these before... I usually know when animatronics are made." Brian  nodded because he knew why "You seem to know about the robot's that y-William Afton made, these animatronics were made by his co-worker Henry Emily not long ago actually! These animatronics, much like the older 'toy' models have security system...Henry was always concerned about the security." He answered with what he knew and he noticed Springtrap's ears had gone down a bit "This 'Henry' that you speak of, is he still alive?" He asked silently "Yeah, he's not that old too, although he has been hiding away in his house ever since Mr.Afton disappeared, the last time he even came out was just to say 'Hey I made new animatronics'. No news since, but everyone hopes he isn't dead." The dead man nodded and Brian went over to the stage to turn on Happy frog, the green robot turned on with a loud screech making everyone back up, she looked at them, her purple eyes shining "Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" Lefty looked at her and smilled "Hello!" He said with a warm tone, the frog looked down at him and smirked "Hi!" She put her hand out to help him up and Lefty took it. Brian got up and dusted his sweater, he smilled when he heared the interaction between the two and looked down as Helpy tapped his leg. The bear looked up and said "It's time for minigames." He nodded and looked over at the group in front of the stage, suddenly Happy frog jumped on him and placed her hands on both of his shoulders "And what's YOUR name?" Brian smilled at the frog's antics "It's Brian! Hi there." The frog gasped and started squeezing his cheeks "Oh my god you're so tiny and fleshy! It's so cute." Brian's face flushed and he let out a small giggle, the lime green animatronic looked around at the group after having finished playing with the boy's freckled cheeks and asked "So what do you guys do around here?" Helpy jumped up and said "Minigames!" Making the human nod "It's time for that, come on let's go." The group made their way to the portal room and after Brian's countdown, jumped into the black pit of fun

They all got thrown out of the portal while screaming, Bryan got up from the floor and stretched "Well i should get back now?, Helpy you give me my money tomorrow! And u also have a question." The bear nodded and followed him to the exit, she sat down in the front desk and Brian sighed "The vent shift, can I just do it once a week?" Helpy jumped up and nodded "As long as you do it!" The freckled adult nodded and waved goodbye to Helpy, before walking out of the pizzeria.

Once again he got home safe. He plopped down on the bed once he took of his shoes and turned off the light, letting the sweet nothing consume him as he fell asleep
