"So you're saying, that you aren't James Potter?!" Remus exclaimed, frowning at the imposter couple in confusion. Harry nodded in response, as a myriad of emotions flew through him. Would he finally get to meet his family?

"I'm not Lily Potter either..." Hermione said, appearing behind Harry in the doorway. An awkward smile tugged at the corners of her lips, as she scanned their faces, searching for a clear reaction.

Sirius nodded, agreeing with the couple; although his eyes told a different story, for they were full of mistrust and disbelief. Slowly, he entered the house, slyly pulling his wand from his back pocket. The two men followed in haste; closing the door as they did so, therefore the imposters wouldn't be able to escape.

"Who are you? And what have you done with James and Lily?!" The man with the scar hollered, pointing his wand directly at the duo; who by the looks of it, seemed to be just as shocked as they were.

Harry opened his mouth to reply but was instantly silenced by an obnoxious cry. The noise wouldn't cease, as it echoed above them. Just then, did something click within Harry's brain. He turned his focus towards Hermione, who- by the looks of it- shared the same thought as he did.

Before the men could react, Harry grabbed Hermione's hand, dragging her to the stairwell swiftly. Together, they entered the upstairs bedroom, where the painfully sharp noise was streaming from. Hermione creaked open the vast door, entering the room with Harry. She was completely caught up in her thoughts, that she didn't seem to realize that their hands were still tangled together.

Suddenly, the whining stopped, much to the duo's delight; although Harry couldn't seem to place a finger on why it ended so abruptly.

"Hermione..." Harry whispered; his voice was husky and low, as his breath bounced off her neck. She couldn't seem to bear it, maybe Ginny was right after all. "Do you have your wand?"

Hermione nodded, for she couldn't find any words to say; after all, she was still caught up in the sickening fireworks that exploded in the pit of her stomach. Hesitantly, she retrieved her wand from her pocket, handing it over to him.

"Thanks..." Harry grinned, examining her wand for a brief second before turning towards the door. "Colloportus!"

There was a rapid clicking sound, as the door locked itself without wavering. As clever as she was, Hermione couldn't help but be stumped as she watched her wand work in Harry's possession. "How did you do th-?" She started but was shut up by Harry's hand clasping over her mouth.

"Shh..." He hissed, his possessive eyes locking with her own, which made her gulp. After moments- which felt like hours in Hermione's case- Harry broke eye contact, as he glanced around the room.

The room itself was mostly blue; with the exception of a few things. There was a window on the right side, looking out onto a graveyard; which actually was rather pretty during the day time. Hermione couldn't help but notice the piles of baby clothing and supplies that were stacked in the corner by the closet; which was filled to the brim.

"Come here..." Harry mumbled, grabbing her arm gingerly and leading her over to the crib that set directly under the window.
