Chapter 4

Ok y'all this is what Elijah looks like. Do you guys still think Elijah and Arabelle are good characters or should I take them out?  Also sorry for taking so long to update. Hope you enjoy the chapter!! :)

3rd POV

~Tiny catch up~

Lucy went to surprise Ari by picking her up from her school and promised to hang out with her the next day.

~Tiny catch up over~

Lucy's POV

After dropping Ari and her friends off I headed home with the babies. All through out the car ride I couldn't help but wonder why I could sense magic coming from Ari and why was the hopeless magic coming from her school? Instead of thinking about this I focused on the road and decided to put these thoughts off till I got home.

~tiny time skip~

Once I got home I took the twins out and went inside to prepare dinner. Since I basically had the house to myself I pulled out my speaker and put my music on while cooking dinner. As I walked around the kitchen I couldn't help but wonder about the magic again. Why would Ari have such a strong magical presence?

~20 Minutes later~

Dinner was almost finished and Jenna and Leo got home about 15 minutes ago and were taking showers. I was still waiting for Callie to get home from shopping. After about another 15 minutes the front door opened and Callie walked in. As soon as she walked in I called everyone down for dinner.

~Time skip to after dinner~

By now everyone was in bed or asleep. I still had to think about what me and the girls are going to do tomorrow. Hmm we could go to the mall or an amusement park but i don't know where a good amusement park is so I'll take them to the mall and then a regular park and we can get ice cream while we are at the park.

~Time Skip to tomorrow~

I woke up at around 9 o'clock and took a shower, got dressed and put on some light makeup to get ready for the day and i finished in about 30 minutes. After getting ready I went downstairs to start breakfast and started go around and wake everyone one up. All of the older kids were able to get ready on their own so I went and got the twins up and ready for the day and of course Arabelle being the sleepyhead she is refused to let me put her down so instead I carried her downstairs while she rested her head on my shoulder and Elijah held my hand. When we got downstairs I saw that everyone was sitting at the table waiting for us so while Elijah got in his seat I put Arabelle down in her seat and immediately she protested with a small whine but I knew she was fine so I turned around took the eggs off the stove and the bacon out of the oven. I made plates for everyone while asking what they would like and as soon as I set down the last two cups of milk on the table I sat down at my seat and everyone started to eat. After breakfast Callie, Jenna, and Leo told me there plans for today and went off. I got up from my seat and wiped the twins off and then got them loaded into the car so we could head off to the mall. Once they were in I got in the driver's seat and headed off to the house.

~Small time skip~

When I got to the house to pick up Ari I got the twins out and knocked on the door. My mother opened it and greeted me with a hug after slightly scolding me for knocking saying I'm her daughter and I am always welcome. I of course playfully rolled my eyes and sheepishly laughed. After that I went to go get Ari and her friends and when I walked to her bedroom I could feel a fourth presence in the room plus I could hear another voice but instead of dwelling on it for too long I knocked and opened the door telling her I'm coming in. When I walked in and looked around before turning to her and asking "Are you ready to go I have the day planned out for us." She turned to her friends and nodded before grabbing a small pink purse. We walked out the door and I said bye to the twins while telling them to be good. We all got in the car and I drove us to the mall.

~Just another smol itty bitty time skip~ 

When we arrived at the mall I took the girls anywhere they wanted and after all that shopping we stopped at the food court got ourselves some lunch and continued to shop. After stopping in a couple more stores we all walked out with at least 3 bags each. Now its time for the final stop. We got in the car and drove to the park and as soon as we got there we started to walk around.

~At the park~

Ari and her friends had been questioning me about what is was like in the States and so I answered all their questions. "Lucy why did you move to the states" Suha asked me. I looked at her and said, "Well, First of all I wanted a change of scenery because I had grown up in the same town forever, Second me and my friend wanted to start our own life together so we moved to the states and started our careers as singers." The next question came from Min, "Why did you come back?" I once again responded, "Well I missed my little sister and like before we all needed a change in scenery so why not move back to my hometown where I can have a change in scenery but also be able to see my family. Then came the question from Ari, "How long are you staying for?" I looked at her and told her, "I'm staying as long as I can so don't worry about me leaving anytime soon." She looked happy with that response so we continued on until we found the ice cream parlor and stopped into get a scoop but when I was about to walk in I could feel distress and I could hear a woman panicking in the distance so I told the girls to wait in line and that I would be right back. As I headed over to where I felt the distress from I could feel some negative energy coming from that person and went a little faster.

~Meanwhile at the ice cream parlor~

3rd POV

Ari looked off at where her sister was going until Chess aka Tubi came out and told them he felt negative magic. As soon as they heard that they followed after him which happened to be the same way Ari's sister had gone and now all were a little concerned. They turned a corner to where the negative magic should have been but were only met with Lucy who looked surprised to see them yet at the same time she was suspicious. She shook off her slight suspicions and smiled at them.

~Lucy's POV again~

"Hey girls whatcha doin here?" I had asked them and they all looked worried for a minutes until Ari replied, " We heard some shouting and wanted to make sure you were okay." I looked at her and laughed while responding,"Of course I'm okay, how about we head back to get the ice cream." After they all agreed and we all started to head out we got our ice cream and as soon as we finished it, it was already dark outside so we made our way to the car.

~Time skip to when they get back~

We made it back to Ari's house and all walked up to the door and I was greeted by the sight of a sleep Elijah and Arabelle. We walked in and I walked over to Ari and her friends giving them a hug and saying goodbye and also promising another day like this. I gave my mother a hug and waved goodbye while picking up the twins and getting them in the car.

~With Ari and company~

3rd POV

Ari and the girls were getting ready for bed while Chess was thinking about Ari's sister and why she seems different. Chess could have sworn he felt negative magic but as soon as they ran into her all of the negative magic disappeared. Chess wondered what she could possibly be hiding. He knew she was different and he was going to find out what it was.

*hides behind couch with head poking out while sheepishly waving*
