Kasen POV

Shayla went to shower and Sky was in her room playing I was finna relax when I got a call from my investigator Smoke. Smoke was the person I called when I needed information about things. We been working hard trying to find out who broke into the trap and I think he found out cause he said I needed to get down there ASAP. I know Shay was gonna be mad but hell this my money we talking about. I went up to the bathroom where she was knocked and entered. She was sitting in the tub soaking I guess she had a long practice.

I gotta go handle something mamas but I promise you i'm coming home tonight. "What you tell me the other day, i'm not your mama or your girl go tell Sky she's the one who thinks highly of you." I went to Sky room and told her I'd be home in a few hours and she hugged my neck.

Ion even know why she so upset. I am gone make it home tonight though because I promised Sky and I wouldn't dare lie to her.

When I got to the trap Smoke and Dave was waiting on me with worried looks on their faces. "What dummy imma have to kill tonight" I said walking up to them. "It ain't even a nigga" Smoke said. Only bitches I knew that could have some beef with me was Jessica and Jalandra. They was sisters and got mad cause I fucked both of them. Jessica had the best head so I cut Jalandra off. The night I cut her off she was on some stabbing me type shit so I slapped her ass. I was taught to never hit a female but she tried to stab me so what was I supposed to do.

Jalandra broke into the trap and stole 100 keys I wasn't finna let that slide. "Rumor is she been with them East side niggas and they been pushing your work" I call up Jessica and she didn't answer, then I called Jalandra. "Wassup baby you finally leaving my sister for me"  "Nah it ain't even like that I know what you did and you gone die" I hung up the phone and looked at smoke. "Find that bitch" and walked out.

When I got home Shay was locked up in her room and Sky was in her room sleep. I decided to sleep in the recliner chair next the Sky so she can know I came home like I promised.

Shayla POV

It was about 1 in the morning when Kasen got in the house. I locked my door and didn't answer when he knocked. I heard Sky door open I knew she was sleep so he was gonna be out of there in a minute. When I woke up for school, I went to wake Sky up and seen Kasen sleep in the chair beside her bed. I was mad at him but I did think it was nice for her to wake up and he be right beside her because he promised.

Wake up Sky she sat up and rubbed her eyes when she seen Kasen she smiled and jumped on him causing him to jump up. "KaseyPooh what are you doing sleep in my room" Sky said to him. "You was sleep when I came home so I slept in here with you" Kasen said. Come on Sky get dressed we got school. I picked her out an outfit and we went to the bathroom to do our hygiene.

After school we didn't have practice and I didn't feel like cooking when I got home. I told Kasen to take me to get pizza and that'll be dinner for tonight. He was cool not talking much I could tell something was bothering him. "What are you so down about" I asked him "Nothing of your concern ma" He said as he continued to drive. I hated when he was down and didn't want to talk. When we got home Skyla went to her room and me and Kasen stayed down stairs. I thought long and hard on this and I did want to be loved by him and wanted to show him love. He and I both needed it. As soon as I was about to say something to him, his phone rung "Whats up Smoke" "You sure" "Aite ill be right there" He looked at me blew his breath and rolled his eyes I guess he thought I was going to say something smart but I just said "i'm gone wait on you tonight Kasen" he smiled and headed upstairs to kiss Skyla goodnight.
