""I have had nemeses, O,
And I have had some friends.

I have had the Jen crying at my feet
Since they do not want me gone;
Thus I make them a creed
Yet in doing so birth an evil spawn.
"Don't leave us," say they,
"we will do you good."
The Holder commands them to pray
So doubtless, pray they should.

Yet what can compensate for
A life that is full of me;
A life full of compassion and
A life filled with glee.

So I show the Jen, I do
My one true great form;
Rise up to Vaven, I do
Birth up a huge storm -
Wording my final norm:
"When all hope is lost," I say,
"when the skies turn grey and the heart yearns warmth;
"when pain is a familiar rival," I say, "and each breath breaks into puffs;
"when no one is there for you, and you are not truly yours . . ."
The Jen await my saying, the Holder brews a conform:
"I will be there for you then, my friend," is what I say, because -

I have had nemeses
And I have had some friends;
Nemeses, O what a bliss
But friendships have an end.""
